Paloma Discovers The Truth About Her Mother. Sarah Deals With Julieta. Rosa’s Family Become Bankrupt. Pedro Cooks Up A Sinister Scheme Against Juan In Order To Take Over The Company.
Sarah tells Juan that she doesn’t want to go with him to the congress because he spoke to her rudely infront of Julieta. Juan apologizes to Sarah for what happened and assures her that he will always make professional demands on her at work. The fight between Salvador and Paloma escalates and he later gives in after Modesto’s plea.
Modesto asks Salvador to tell his daughter the truth. Salvador hands Paloma a briefcase containing letters sent by her mom long ago. Paloma finds out that her mother left because of the shame she had for having an affair with Severiano.
As she reads them, Salvador reveals to her that her mother is alive. Paloma sobs and lashes out at her father for being selfish. The Millan family now seems broke as Rosa tries to pay for something on Jumia but her card can’t go through because she has insufficient funds.
Sarah remembers her last confrontation with Juan and also how she was told by Pedro that he likes her and she concludes that she has made a mistake that may hurt Juan dearly. Jessica confesses to Alondra that Déborah is their father’s mistress. Alondra cries in disbelief and the sisters plan to throw Deborah out of the house.
Pedro tells Sarah about his sad past; how his mom rejected him and what have you. He claims that he actually feels bad for Cornelio and Beatriz but things just happened. He remembers a childhood scene where a woman was beating him and Juan. Juan is also in his office remembering the same scene and Julieta comes in with her stupid questions.
Juan manages to get rid of her. In the meantime, Pedro wipes a tear and thanks Sarah for listening to him. She’s so comforting.He touches Sarah who resists, saying that she has work to do. Pedro is somehow shocked. He thought his sob story would have an effect on Sarah.
Mateo asks Modesto to come back to the ranch as they need him but he can’t because he has to be by his son’s side. Paloma and Simon meet in town and she’s really happy to announce to her that her mom is alive. Simon tells her that maybe Salvador lied to protect her. Smooches.
Dante goes through Mateo’s adoption papers and later meets Deborah to discuss about Pedro and Juan. A new lady appears and from her first interaction with Deborah we realize that she’s Irma, Paloma’s mom. They both remember how they were rivals back then fighting for Severiano’s affection.
Irma wants Deborah to convince Salvador to let her see her daughter and she promises to give it a try. After Irma leaves, an angry Deborah suggests that maybe Simon should find out about Irma and make her pay for what she did to Catalina.
Julieta tells Sarah that she is just jealous because Juan takes her opinions into consideration and not her’s because she’s a bästard just like her mother. Sarah gives Julieta a good slap and demands respect from her.
Tadeo overhears Cornelio and Beatriz talking about his paternity and he cries. Cornelio tells him that blood relation doesn’t matter – what matters is they løvë each other. Later, Tadeo asks who his dad is and he concludes that it’s uncle Pedro because he had said so. He also asks Beatriz and Cornelio to reconcile.
Agustin remembers Pedro’s insults and also the talk he had with Severiano who really appreciated his efforts. Sarah cries because Juan didn’t stand with her yet again. She remembers how Juan yelled at her and she suddenly changes her mind and tells herself that she has always risen up by herself.
She doesn’t need to feel sorry for herself. Rosa calls the bank complaining about her credit card and when Prospero arrives, she asks what’s happening. Jessica and Alondra report that their school fees hasn’t been paid.
Prospero declares that they are bankrupt. Rosa doesn’t understand how that is possible. Juan and Pedro arrive at the Cantina to scold Mateo for his behaviour and he stands on the table and announces their løvë triangles. He also says that Julieta løvës him and him alone.
Julieta gets pissed off and calls him a despicable drunkard. Simon and Paloma talk about getting married soon and having a kid. Simon proposes that it should be at the ranch chapel but she wants something small, not a big wedding. Irma watches them from far and Adela spots her.
At the company, Juan and Pedro think that Mateo should go to the clinic but Lucas doesn’t think so. He decides to check online if anything has been posted concerning what Mateo said. He sees a live video on YouTube where Henry tells the interviewer that Juan and his løver are running the company into the ground and he just ruined his investment.
Juan worries that this will make them lose their investors and Dante affirms it. Lucas suggests that they should also go live to explain their point to the public but Pedro begins whining about Juan’s incompetence. He shocks everyone as he declares that he’s going to take over.
