Patrick Dares To Uncover The Truth Behind Eden & Olivia. Mia Stands Her Ground As Danger Lurks In The Shadows.
Patrick and Mia have a talk with Dr. Anok about Eden and their suspicion is piqued when it becomes evident that her absence is related to the butterfly on Matmat’s mural. Patrick and Mia head over to Eden’s place to look for her, and Emman tells them that she had left suddenly with some of her stuff.
The guy laments that he’s not her biological son. Mia returns to the mansion with Patrick, convinced that Eden is actually her mother and she had gone into hiding. Upon hearing noise downstairs, they go to investigate and are met with a nasty surprise which Mia accredits her mother.
Suspicion also falls on Dipong so Patrick heads over to his place to see him. He finds the place deserted and begins snooping around, eventually finding a jacket. Patrick recalls that the person who sneaked Samuel out of the hospital was wearing the exact thing.
He concludes that Dipong has been in cahoots with Olivia. When Patrick meets up with Mia, he updates her and offers to take her to Ms. Li’s place so she won’t be alone. Mia declines, saying that she’s not scared and she can defend herself just fine.
Just then, Patrick receives a phone call from Dr. Anok and a moment later in the office, he’s shown the CCTV footage of the woman in black painting on the mural. Patrick believes that it’s Olivia and he decides to go and face her.
On the way, Mia calls him and he updates her and insists that she doesn’t get involved. Mia goes to investigate downstairs upon hearing a noise. Anyway, Patrick arrives at Olivia’s area fo find some policemen standing by the entrance.
They refuse to let him through so he dashes past them but gets caught eventually. Patrick is then told that Olivia already left with her stuff. Patrick returns home and briefs Matmat about Olivia and Eden, urging him not to trust or go with them if either of them ever approaches him.
He explains that they did some things to hurt other people. Matmat agrees and promises so. Vincent and co discuss the recent incidents at Ms. Li’s place and they ponder on whether Mia’s mother is really alive, posing as someone else and out to get her.
Some think that Eden and Olivia might be in cahoots to kidnap Mia Andrews extort money from her but Gemma sees this as highly unlikely since both women have been rivals for a very long time. Dr. Anok is pleasantly surprised when he finds that Matmat has finally been able to draw a butterfly.
He expresses how proud he is of him since most people with his condition rarely overcome their fears and trauma. Revealing that they’ve finished Mia’s book, Matmat invites him to the launch and he gladly agrees to come as someone spies.
Vincent suggests getting a bodyguard for Mia and he’s surprised as she agrees to it. Mia says she doesn’t want anyone to get hurt and the situation shouldn’t stop them from living their lives. She invites everyone to her book launch to celebrate.
Gemma and her family arrive at the mansion, along with Dr. Anok for the book launch. Vincent is mesmerized to see Gemma all dolled up. He offers his hand to lead her and at some point, Gemma stumbles and has a moment with Vincent as he steadies her.
They all head inside and Mia comes down to welcome them. Everyone is surprised when Madeth suddenly starts recording since it’s supposed to be an intimate social event, kind of like a family and friends get-together.
Madeth reveals that she’s just following Mia’s orders and when Patrick questions her, Mia points out that she wants Eden and Olivia, whoever is her mother, to come out and face her. Mia ushers everyone upstairs, urging them to enjoy the day as Madeth continues streaming.
Introductions are made with the stream as everyone takes a seat at the dining table with delight. Elsewhere, a faceless woman in black watches the live stream and observes everything that’s going on.
The guests dance with their exclusive partners and after a while, Vincent and Ms. Li exchange partners. The Hernandez brothers happily observe with Mia and after a while, Matmat asks to dance with both Patrick and Mia.
He pulls them to the dance floor and everyone cheers as they dance. Later, Patrick and Matmat go to get something to drink and when Patrick rejoins the others, he finds Mia missing.
Patrick glances outside to see her driving away and he quickly takes Vincent’s key to go after her. Complications arise as Dipong is seen tailing Mia on the road in another car.
Mia storms into a building to confront some workers, lashing out at them for ruining the special day as they failed to put some gift in a frame she wanted. They apologize, saying that they already have the frame she wants and she orders for it to be put in her car.
Outside, Dipong talks to someone on the phone, promising to handle Mia since she’s all alone. As Mia comes out and heads for her car, she’s startled by someone who turns out to be Patrick. Patrick lectures her for making them worry and insists on driving.
Upon returning to the mansion, they put up the family photo on the wall and Mia comments that it’s missing something – little Patricks. She wants them to make some and Patrick merely hugs her and urges her to go and rest.
The next day, Vincent supervises the preparations for Mia’s new book at Ok Hospital. Gemma manages to relieve him of his stress and he goes on about his plan to stay in Maravida after it’s all said and done.
Once Vincent confesses his løve for her, Gemma surprisingly ki$$es him and suddenly makes herself scarce. Jason witness this and points out that he wasn’t affected and Patrick points out that it’s because he likes someone else now.
It doesn’t take long for the book reading to commence following an introduction from Vincent. Mia and Matmat take turns reading to their audience which mostly entails the patients at the hospital. They get emotional as they relate to the story.
At some point nearing the end, Mia and Matmat get into an argument over who’s turn it is to read and Vincent steps in to salvage the situation. Later, Patrick paves the way for Mia and Matmat to reconcile.
