Mia Is Heartbroken To Uncover The Shocking Truth; Patrick Bridges The Gap To Redeem Her. The Search For Eden Unfolds.

A woman in black lingers around the mess hall and begins painting on the wall where Matmat’s painting is. Later, Tommy congratulates Matmat for finally finding the door to conquer his fears but Matmat says he’s not been able to do it yet.

Once they get to the mess hall, they see a painting of a butterfly and Matmat states that he didn’t draw it. He begins to break down, saying that the butterflies that k!lled their mother has come back for him and Patrick strives to calm him down.

Mia stares at the butterfly drawing in disbelief as Matmat continues to make a scene, going on about how his mother’s k!ller was wearing that same butterfly on her dress. Without warning, Mia stalks out of the place and Patrick goes after her.

Mia tells him that the butterfly on the mural is one of a kind and her mother was the one who made it. She asks him to go back to Matmat because he’s more important and she needs time to think.

A moment later, Patrick goes to check up on his brother who’s redrawn from everyone to process things. He manages to contain the situation and get him to come out.

Upon arriving at the mansion, Mia makes a mess of the place and breaks down, saying that she doesn’t want her mother to return because she’ll take away all the beautiful things in her life. Someone spies.

As Matmat strives to muster the strength to draw the butterfly, Ms. Li tells Vincent and the others about how impressed she with him and Patrick because they’ve never given up after they’ve been through.

Meanwhile, Patrick arrives at the mansion and Mia begins questioning him about the butterfly, asking if it was her mother who k!lled his. Patrick tries to explain things to her and that’s when the bitter truth dawns on her.

Mia brings up how he had tried to make her face Olivia and she asks if she’s really her mother and Patrick says he doesn’t know for sure. On this note, Mia tells him to leave her alone because her mother’s return isn’t going to do either of them any good.

Patrick tries to reason with her but she walks out on him. The workers at Ok Hospital discuss Eden’s absence for days without a word to anyone. They find this kind of strange since she’s never called in sick and always tells them when she has to go somewhere.

When Matmat arrives home, Patrick tells him that Mia isn’t well so she can’t join them for dinner. Matmat decides to take her food to her and Mia is compelled to face him so he doesn’t get the wrong idea.

She breaks down and apologizes to him profusely, and Matmat shows her drawing of when he had seen his brother happy in his sleep after he had said he liked her. Mia gets even more emotional and lets Matmat spoon-feed her.

Later, she meets up with Vincent to give him a cheque, telling him to find another writer because she quits. She leaves him in disbelief and the next morning, Vincent confronts Patrick about it.

Patrick goes to see Mia to talk to her but he’s already late as she leaves in her car with some luggage without regarding him. Patrick then moves out of the mansion with his brother and he later finds a package outside the door which turns out to be a book.

Patrick reads and realizes that it’s from Ingrid, and the post script is an indirect threat to Mia. Madeth is harassed by her brother who tries to convince her to steal from her bosses because he’s good-for-nothing and wants easy money.

Jason comes upon the scene as Madeth tells him that she’s not a thief. The wretched guy curses at her and before he can get physical with her, Jason intervenes and puts him in his place.

Later, Madeth attends to Jason’s bruised knuckles, stating that no one has ever defended her in such a way. They have a moment staring into each other’s eyes before a phone call breaks it.

Mia decides to meet with Vincent at a restaurant in Manila so he’ll stop bothering her. She gives him the manuscript to her mother’s last book and Vincent points out that he’d rather publish her book because she’s important to him.

Having said her piece, Mia deserts Vincent, only to run into Patrick outside. She tries to walk out on him but Patrick holds her back and tells her that he’s forgiven her if she thinks it’s a sin to be the daughter of the woman who k!lled his mother.

Patrick adds that they shouldn’t be torn apart by a sin they didn’t commit. Mia gets emotional and apologizes and Patrick ki$$es and hugs her. Vincent goes through the garbage at the refuse dump with the Madeth to find Ingrid’s manuscript which he had thrown away earlier.

He plans to use it as insurance if Mia doesn’t finish her book. At a point, Madeth gets fed up and decides to stop. After an argument with Vincent, she leaves him by himself.

Ironically, the manuscript is in her possession and she won’t let Vincent have it unless he treats her nicely. Mia has a talk with Patrick about Eden and Olivia, as to which of them could be Ingrid.

On the way to the car, they come across Vincent and they’re immediately assaulted by the foul scent coming from him. Mia tells him to stay away, assuring him that she’ll finish the book.

The lovebirds return home and bond together and Patrick puts Mia to bed after she falls asleep. The next day, they talk to Dr. Anok about Eden and their suspicion is piqued when it becomes evident that her absence is related to the butterfly on Matmat’s mural.

Patrick and Mia head over to Eden’s place to look for her, and Emman tells them that she had left suddenly with some of her stuff. The guy laments that he’s not her biological son.

Mia returns to the mansion with Patrick, convinced that Eden is actually her mother and she had gone into hiding. Upon hearing noise downstairs, they go to investigate and are met with a nasty surprise which Mia accredits her mother.

Suspicion also falls on Dipong so Patrick heads over to his place to see him. He finds the place deserted and begins snooping around, eventually finding a jacket.

Patrick recalls that the person who sneaked Samuel out of the hospital was wearing the exact thing. He concludes that Dipong has been in cahoots with Olivia.
