Samuel Goes Out of Control. Mia’s Dark Memories With Patrick Resurface; Zelda Features A Shocking Surprise.
Patrick and Mia simultaneously reflect on their past history through their childhood. Mia in particular recalls how she had given Patrick a hard time but had eventually warmed up to her as he never got tired of drawing close to her.
At a point, Patrick had visited the mansion and as he waited outside the gate with some flowers, Mia is glad to see him. She hurries down the stairs, only to run into her mother. A moment later, Mia goes to see Patrick and she tramples on the flowers he got for her and tells him never to come back.
At present, Mia admits that she really misses Patrick. Meanwhile, Gemma runs into Patrick and he asks how she’s doing. Gemma seems confused so Patrick hints at what happened last night. Apparently, Vincent had carried her home and she had launched into a drunken stupor, lashing out at Patrick and accusing him of trying to get her to reconcile with Mia.
As Vincent strives to calm her down, Gemma pukes all over him. At present, Gemma feels embarrassed over the incident and she apologizes. As Mia lies and wallows in bed, Vincent troubles her with one phone call after another.
Eventually, Mia picks up to hear him say his piece. Vincent wishes her a happy birthday and goes on about the surprise they have for her. Mia hangs up on him as he’s about to disclose the location for her to come to.
At Ok Hospital, Samuel who’s sitting by himself outside begins to act all strange. He gets up from the bench and approaches Zelda, asking if she’s the one he heard singing. Zelda replies with affirmation and a taunt and without warning, Samuel pounces on her and begins strangling her, saying that she isn’t supposed to be alive.
Patrick witnesses the incident and hurries over to stop Samuel. Samuel cries out that Zelda and his daughter are both monsters. Patrick objects to this and Samuel warns that Mia will k!ll him if he doesn’t k!ll her first. Olivia hurries over to help Patrick contain the situation.
In no time, Eden makes fun of her on account of the turn of events. Later, Olivia interrogates Zelda about what she did to trigger Samuel but she doesn’t give her much to go on. Patrick has a talk with the doctor about Samuel’s breakdown and the part Zelda had played in it.
Dr. Anok speculates that Zelda might be Ingrid who had disappeared years ago. Ms. Li finds Mia standing outside her compound and she invites her inside and prepares spaghetti for her. Cue in Vincent, Madeth and even Jason with their surprise which seems to make Mia genuinely happy for a moment.
Later, Vincent gives her a gift and tells her to snap out of her obsession with Patrick. Mia goes to see Matmat at the house to talk to him, but he refuses to let her inside, calling her a liar. Mia strives to get through to him all to no avail.
Upon returning to the mansion, Mia reflects on some dark memories with her mother. At Ok Hospital, Olivia gladly makes her way out to go and meet someone. It is revealed that Ingrid had suffered damage to her face after her husband had tried to k!ll her.
And that’s when Dipong encountered her at the river. After recovering, Ingrid had sworn Dipong to secrecy, with the promise of making her husband pay and coming back for her daughter. Apparently, Ingrid had gone into hiding and undergone surgery to fix her face, and she wasn’t happy with her new look.
On his way out of the hospital, Patrick finds Gemma trying to revive Pogi who had passed out on the floor. There lies an empty syringe near him. Pogi regains consciousness and recounts how Zelda had drugged him, telling him that it’s a special day for her. Recalling Mia’s persistent messages,
Patrick borrows Gemma’s car and hurries off. Meanwhile, Mia goes to open the door when she hears a knock, and who do we see? That’s right, Zelda, holding a beautiful lit cake. Mia looks on dumbfounded as Zelda smiles and merely adds, “happy birthday, dear daughter”.
