Matmat Retreats Into Isolation. A Guilt-ridden Patrick Strives To Make Amends, Leaving Mia In Despair.
Patrick gathers himself just as Mia approaches. He tells her that he can’t drive her home because he needs to be with his brother. Mia tries reassuring him, pointing out the fact that he didn’t do anything wrong and Patrick walks away without another word.
After Gemma has Matmat settled in the isolation room, she tells Patrick to go home and take a rest since he’ll be out of it for a because of the shot they had given him.
In the meantime, Zelda gossips with Cynthia about the incident, badmouthing Patrick and an upset Kai grabs the dustbin and dumps it’s contents on them. He lashes out at them to defend Patrick and the nurses hurry over to restore order.
A moment later, the nurses meet to have a discussion about the recent incidents in the hospital. Mia arrives at the mansion as forlorn as ever, and she picks up Satsat and pours out her heart to it, hoping that “his brothers” will patch things up.
Gemma calls home to inform her mother that the Gonzales brothers won’t be coming for dinner tonight on account of what happened. In no time, Jason and Vincent get into an argument.
Nurse Olivia goes to talk to Zelda about what happened earlier, and the conflict between the brothers is brought up. When Olivia mentions that it’s merely a misunderstanding which will be sorted out soon, Zelda smirks, stating that a simple misunderstanding could cost someone their life.
Having regained consciousness, Matmat hides under the covers and refuses to come outside.
Patrick decides to wait outside the isolation room for his brother and Pogi comes to check up on him.
Pogi then carries on and runs into Gemma and he makes note of how he’s baffled by Matmat’s reaction. Gemma reminds him that the guy has autism and when faced with difficult situations, such people tend to shut themselves off from the world to deal and process their overwhelming emotions.
Gemma checks up on Matmat and urges him to come out once he’s ready. After she leaves, Matmat gets out of the bed and peeps through the door. Ms. Li has a talk with Dr. Anok about the recent incidents, recounting the tragic past of the brothers.
A moment later, the doctor goes to check up on Patrick and since he’ll be staying at the hospital until his brother’s recovery, he asks him to resume work.
After receiving a phone call, Patrick meets Jason who lectures him on the conflict with his brother, blaming it on his relationship with Mia. Reflecting on some memories, Patrick states that he’s come back to reality.
Jason heads into the isolation room to give Matmat some food from home. Matmat is back to hiding under the covers so he places it on the table and leaves. Once the coast is clear, Matmat comes out to eat.
A moment later, he finds one of Ingrid’s books, “The Enchanted Witch” in the doorway with a note that says “the little brother k!lled his brother”. Nurse Eden spies. In the meantime, Zelda stares at Matmat’s painting at the mess hall, reacting in a weird way as Olivia observes.
Mia arrives at the hospital to talk to Patrick and he resolves to listen to her after he tries in vain to avoid her. Knowing full well that he blames himself for what happened with his brother, Mia points out that it wasn’t his fault and they need to deal with.
However, Patrick still feels guilty and can no longer be with her because he’ll be hurting his brother with their relationship. Exasperated, Mia tries to reason with him, reminding him of everything they’ve shared.
She asks if he really thinks Matmat still wants him around when he’s been holding a grudge against him all these years. Patrick says everything that happened between them is now memories and it was a mistake to entertain her in his life in the first place.
With that, he turns and walks away and Mia desperately calls out to him in vain. Upon returning to the mansion, Mia heads over to Patrick’s bed and lies down on it, reflecting on the memories they had together.
Meanwhile, Patrick cautiously makes his way into the isolation room. Having found his brother asleep, Patrick grabs his hand and takes a trip down memory lane, reflecting on the past. Mia continues to lie on the bed, heartbroken.
