It’s Okay To Not Be Okay Episode 17

Dr. Anok Settles Eden & Olivia’s Rivalry. Matmat’s Jealousy Is Unleashed. Patrick Comes To The Rescue As Fresh Trouble Unfolds.

Patrick fixes Satsat and hands him over to Mia and she gladly accepts it and lies on him. Back at Ok Hospital, Eden and Olivia face off yet again  After Mia dozes off, Patrick carries her to her room and recalls a past memory when Mia had chased him away when they were kids.

A heartbroken Patrick had found his brother ranting incoherently about butterflies a moment before discovering their mother’s lifeless body. As Jason plays some video game in peace, he’s irritated by the sound of Vincent’s snoring and he laments over his ordeal.

Vincent tosses around in bed and ends up with a used chewing gum where his moustache is supposed to be, and Jason laughs at him and takes a photo. Mia wakes up from sleep with a smile, staring at Satsat.

She sits by the mirror to comb her hair, only to live through another one of the haunting memories with her mother. Eden confronts Olivia for going to Dr. Anok in her desperate attempt to steal her patient (Samuel).

An exchange of words ensues and ends with Olivia walking out on her. In the meantime, Ms. Li commends Vincent’s new look, telling him that he looks much younger without his moustache.

Jason passes snide remarks and when Madeth joins them, Vincent asks if it’s okay for her to be roommates with Gemma. Apparently, he’d prefer to be the one cohabiting with her.

Mia joins the Gonzales brothers for breakfast and she and Matmat apologize to each other for what happened last night. Though they reconcile, Matmat makes it clear that he won’t let her take anything else belonging to Patrick.

While Vincent has breakfast with Gemma and co, Ms. Li continues to relate well with him, ironically disregarding Jason. It gets to a point where Gemma urges her mother to quit with her actions.

On the way to work, Gemma expresses her disapproval over her mother’s indulgence of Vincent and Ms. Li lectures. They run into Mia and the Gonzales brothers and Liwanag commends Mia’s new hairstyle.

Matmat retorts that he doesn’t like it. Mia sharply responds, saying that he just doesn’t like the fact that it was Patrick who cut her hair. Out of the blue, Liwanag invites Mia to visit their place some time and Gemma disapproves and pulls her away.

When Matmat notices Mia’s arm interlocked with his brother’s, he gets in-between them. He then leaves with Patrick as Mia looks on irritated.

Dr. Anok welcomes Mia back to the hospital and she’s pleasantly surprised to learn that it was Patrick who had requested her return.

Speaking of, Patrick finds a snack which had been stashed in his locker and Pogi begins teasing him, saying that he might have a secret admirer.

Eden sits by Samuel’s bedside, staring at him, silently going on about how it’s okay to give up. However, she’ll be there to take care of him as long as he chooses to be around.

Outside, Eden runs into Olivia and they have another faceoff and battle of words. At the mansion, Dipong recalls an incident where a younger Ingrid had scratched his cheek with her fingernail and given him that nasty “tribal mark”.

Patrick confronts Kai over the snack he had found and he comes clean and explains that he just wanted to make it up to him because he didn’t report him and Bella to the doctor.

Patrick retorts that he’s not decided yet and Kai reveals that he and Bella have decided to put their relationship on hold until they get better and leave the hospital.

Kai however notes that it’s not easy staying away from someone you’ve fallen for. Patrick has a sense of deja vu as he recalls some memories with Mia. He wonders if he’s really falling in løve with her.

Meanwhile, Mia addresses her class on the classic love story of Beauty and the Beast. She burts their bubbles by stating that it’s not really a løve story but a case of Stockholm Syndrome.

Tommy is quick to agree with her, recounting how the story went but Bella refuses to believe that as she goes on about how the Beast had changed for the better when Beauty came into her life.

Bella states that løve makes one develop into the best version of themselves. Kai couldn’t agree more but the others think she’s lost it and it’s now time for her meds.

Mia reflects on some moments with Patrick and the conflicts with Matmat, wondering if Bella is right. Dr. Anok decides to cast lots to decide who will be taking care of Samuel. Olivia wins and the doctor congratulates her.

Mia excitedly approaches Patrick to tell him about the interesting class she just had. Her excitement dies down when Patrick brings up her father. A moment later, Nurse Olivia tells her that her father needs her but Mia won’t hear anyone of it.

Eden is annoyed when Olivia goes to check up on Matmat at the mess hall. She asks if her next plan is to take over the whole hospital. Olivia later attends to Samuel, telling him that they’ll never be apart again.

Meanwhile, Jerome, Bella’s abusive ex boyfriend, visits and tries to take her away by force but she resists. Bella slaps him when he passes an inappropriate comment and the guy angrily grabs her by the neck.

Suddenly, Mia intervenes and faces off with the wretched guy and she gets slapped for her trouble. As the guy tries to hit her again, Patrick shows up and begins beating him up.

Mia stares in disbelief. The commotion draws the attention of the nurses and Matmat stops his brother with his drama.
