Nurse Rivalry Intensifies. Nightmares & Secrets Unfold. Vincent Becomes Desperate. Mia & Patrick Have A Glimpse of Happiness.
Nurse Eden and Olivia are at each other’s throats again. Figuratively. They’re as competitive as ever, scrutinizing each other over their various shortcomings.
Meanwhile, Vincent and Madeth get in Patrick’s way and the latter asks him to move out of the ancestral mansion with his brother. Vincent notes that as Mia’s manager, he knows what’s best for her and their presence will be a hindrance to her return to work.
Madeth chimes in that her boss is worried he would steal Mia away from him. Nevertheless, he will have no problem with them staying with Mia at the mansion, provided he can assure him that Mia will return to work.
Patrick merely says that Mia will return to work on her own free will and he’s not taking her from anyone. Speaking of, Elvie continues to pester Mia as she’s on her way out of the hospital. Mia gets fed up at some point and lashes out at her.
Coming upon the scene, Pogi ushers the delusional woman away. Patrick tries to contact Mia on the phone, only to realize that she had left it behind.
A moment later, Patrick is roped to join Matmat and Gemma for lunch. Mia materializes and observes as they bond together. Out of nowhere comes Elvie again, and she begins with her delusions again.
Mia snaps at her and declares that she’s not her daughter. She recounts the gruesome death of her mother which she witnessed, and Elvie breaks down and literally collapses on the spot. Mia carries on unfazed.
Patrick arrives at the mansion and as Mia lies in her bed, he knocks at the door and tries in vain to get a response. Mr. Dipong comes to ask Mia about his salary since Vincent suddenly stopped paying him.
Stating that Mia can’t talk to him at the moment, Patrick asks about what he said regarding someone returning. Dipong claims that it’s Miss Ingrid and her spirit lingers at the place.
Patrick carries on to bed and he reflects on his mother’s death, noting that Mia’s mother could have helped him to get to the bottom of the truth if she were alive.
In the dead of night, Mia relives a troubling memory with her mother. In the dream, Ingrid taunts her over how she would k!ll any prince who comes into her life.
Mia is frozen in fear as she stares at her mother who’s levitating. Patrick is jerked awake by Mia’s cries and he hurries into her room and wakes her up. Mia breaks down, telling him to leave because “she k!lls him”. Patrick consoles her as she cries.
The next morning, Mia is glad to wake up to see Patrick sleeping by her side. Upon waking up, Patrick apologizes and asks her about the nightmare she had.
Mia says she can’t remember anything and states that it’s a good thing. She mentions that the only thing she told his patient (Elvie) was that her mother was dead.
Patrick leaves to go and check up on his brother and he has breakfast with him after he gets ready for work. In the meantime, Dr. Anok examines the footage of the encounter between Mia and Elvie, and he later briefs his staff on how to deal with Elvie while her delusions are being treated.
They begin discussing what Mia could have told Elvie to trigger her and Dr. Anok decides to suspend her sessions with the patients until the case is resolved.
Having taken a leave, Patrick escorts his brother and they make smalltalk while they wait at the bus stop. Matmat asks his brother if he’s okay because sometimes, he seems to be crying when he’s sleeping.
Patrick says he might have been dreaming, but Matmat thinks he cries at night because his heart is not okay but in pain. As Mia still lies in bed, she receives a pestering message from an unknown number, asking for the continuation of the witch’s tale.
Recalling how her mother used to brush her hair, Mia sits by the mirror and grabs some scissors. Vincent arrives outside with Madeth, determined to take Mia back to Manila.
Patrick drops off Matmat at Jason’s shop and a moment later, he hurries out after receiving a phone call. While Vincent has a talk with Madeth outside, they hear the sound of shattered glass.
Vincent hurries into the house to find Mia. He asks if she’s okay and Mia says she wants to cut her mother out of her life. Vincent tries to drag her outside with Madeth’s help and Mia resists.
In the struggle, Vincent almost falls down the stairs if not for Patrick’s timely arrival and intervention.
Vincent tries to explain to him why Mia can’t stay at the mansion, and Patrick argues that he can’t force her to leave if she doesn’t want to. He drags him out and locks the door. He then goes to check up on Mia.
Patrick decides to take her outside on a ride in order to lift her spirits. While Jason is ranting nonstop about Patrick, Madeth butts in and asks to talk to Matmat. Meanwhile, Patrick takes Mia to a restaurant and she has some rice with salted eggs and tomato.
Since it tastes different from Patrick’s, she orders another one, then asks Patrick to mix the eggs and tomatoes for her. Mia gladly observes as Patrick goes on right ahead.
