Patrick Rushes To Mia’s Aid, But Gets Caught Up In Her Incessant Flirting Game. Fresh Trouble Brews At The Hospital.

Nurse Eden reports the incident to Dr. Anok Lumbera who asks to have Mia come over so he can talk to her. After she leaves his office, the doctor checks out Ingrid’s patient file, wondering if Mia has the same condition she had.

Patrick boards a jeepney with Matmat and during the drive, they come across Mia walking on the side of the road. At home, Patrick reads one of his brother’s books, one of Mia’s dark tales about a demon boy and his mother.

The story triggers a memory that brings him to tears. Mia continues to walk the street in some kind of daze. When Patrick learns from Nanny Li what transpired between Mia and her father, he borrows Jason’s motorbike to go and look for her.

He doesn’t find her at the area he saw her last so he drives around. At the hospital, Gemma discusses Samuel’s unusual outburst with Olivia, wondering what could have made him react so violently.

In the meantime, Patrick finally finds Mia just as the rain starts pouring in. He wraps his jacket around her and she hugs him.

Patrick takes her on his motorbike to a nearby hotel where she continuously flirts with him, asking if he’s captivated by her wet body.

Patrick says he was merely looking out for her out of concern. He tries to book a room for her but then he realizes that he had left his wallet at home.

Eventually, he decides to take her to her house but then Mia complains about the road. Patrick then takes her to his place and he sneaks her inside before anyone could see them.

Mia surveys the room and makes note of his minimalist lifestyle. She throws herself at him again and Patrick holds her off and tries to lecture her on emotions, going on about how everyone has them, as well as the need to find ways to express them.

Patrick and Mia argue over whether or not the demon boy from the dark tale had a capacity to feel. Mia thinks Patrick came for her earlier because he likes her but doesn’t want to admit it.

Patrick denies it and drags her to the poster of emotional expressions on the wall, telling her to study them so she doesn’t misread the emotions people express. Mia retorts that she doesn’t have autism like his brother.

Later, Patrick goes to see his brother to make amends with him for snapping at him before. He explains that he had been stressed after getting slapped which left his cheek swollen.

Patpat gets concerned and examines his brother’s cheek and when he sees that it’s no longer swollen, he begins beating him literally, calling him a liar. Patrick joins Mrs. Liwanag for dinner and tells her that his brother will eat later.

A moment later, Patrick takes some food to Mia and she troubles him as they dine together. As Jason comes over to hang out, Patrick quickly drives him away with excuses.

Upon returning to his room, he tries to make Mia get up so he would have someone take her home now that the rain has stopped. Mia resists and Patrick gives in before she shouts to get everyone’s attention.

Matmat learns from Mrs. Liwanag that his brother had really been telling the truth earlier. Jason says he’ll sleeping at his place tonight because Patrick’s place supposedly has a leaky pipe.

Mia tells Patrick that he’s very good at pretending that everything is okay, and Patrick admits that he never wants his brother to worry.

Mia points out that the first time he put his feelings first in a long time was when he came for her earlier – it had nothing to do with Matmat. He felt bad after finding out what happened to her. Mia states that Patrick feels for her.

She’s exasperated to notice that he’s dozed off. At the hospital, a figure in black touches Pogi as he’s sleeping and he jerks awake to find no one there. Pogi is startled again when he suddenly runs into Gemma.

He asks if she was the one who passed by him earlier. Gemma replies in the negative and tells him about the rumour of the ghost that walks and whistles during midnight.

Apparently, that’s what Cynthia who supposedly has a third eye claims. Meanwhile, the figure in black strolls into the men’s ward and begins strangling Samuel. His struggles wakes up his colleagues who hurry to call for help.
