Mia’s Dark Fairy Tale & Hidden Truth Sparks Mixed Reactions. Patrick Makes An Unsettling Discovery.

Patrick and Matmat have dinner with with Gemma and her mother, which brings back memories for the former. Mia relives the painful tale of the princess who had been cursed by an evil witch.

A ki$$ from her prince won’t save her because she’ll be the one to k!ll him before he finds her. Upon waking up from the night terror, Mia breaks down and envisions Patrick consoling her. She uses the technique he taught her to calm herself.

The mercy day at hospital, Patrick arrives at work in time to overhear his coworkers discussing Samuel’s condition. Nurse Pogi alerts the others to watch Junjun, a frequent patient who happens to be the son of Congressman Martinez.

It’s noted that Junjun has manic episodes where he’s fond of taking his clothes and flashing to everyone who cares. Anyway, Nurse Eden scolds Pogi and lectures him on how to deal with the congressman’ son.

A moment later, Patrick attends to Junjun as he recount an “exciting” incident that brought him back to the facility. Dr. Lumbera begins to get worked up as he’s unable to find the doll which is supposed to be an amulet to ward off evil.

While Matmat helps Jason at his restaurant, he’s encouraged to entertain customers with his drawing skills. As Patrick makes his rounds at the hospital, he chances upon Mia having a literature lesson with the patients.

Mia teaches them about fairy tales. She busts their bubbles and quenches their excitement as she lays out her queer opinions, declaring that true løve is an illusion; people must accept their truths and wake up to reality.

Patrick eventually has to call Mia to order as she continues to unnerve the patients. Dr. Lumbera calls Nurse Eden and Olivia to his office, and he informs them that they’re both being considered as the manager in their department.

After the teaching session is over, Patrick scrutinizes Mia and she shrugs it off and makes it crystal clear that she’s there at the hospital because of him.

Patrick reminds her of what she said earlier, that one needs to let go of fairy tales and live their truths. Mia declares that she can see it his eyes – he has a hidden desire for her. She recounts how warm and comforting he was to her in her dream.

Without warning, Mia casually asks Patrick to go out with her and have fun. Her antics distract some patients working out nearby and Patrick drags her away to reason with her.

He eventually ditches her as she continues to prove difficult. A moment later, the doctor asks Patrick whether Mia is as violent as people say, on account of the incident at the book reading event.

Patrick gives a vague answer as he recalls a couple of incidents. He asks about the symptoms of antisocial personality disorder. He makes note of the fact that Mia has been exhibiting some of the signs.

Dr. Lumbera points out that the condition is incurable but manageable and thus, people with the disorder shouldn’t be enabled or engaged. On her way to her car, Mia comes across Gemma wheeling her father.

Samuel points a finger at her and tries to mumble something which comes out as incoherent. Gemma goes after her and confronts her for disregarding her father. Mia indulges her and declares that she doesn’t care about that man.

She taunts her about her actual reason for being at the hospital. Patrick brings Matmat to see Dr. Lumbera for another therapy session. The doctor shows Matmat a big white wall and asks him to make a drawing for it.

Later, Patrick takes note of his brother’s savings box and asks him about it. Matmat reveals his intention of wanting to buy a caravan where they can live. Impressed, Patrick tells him that it doesn’t matter where they go because they’ll always be together.
