The Book Reading Debacle & A Taste of Chaos. Mia’s Flirting Game Turns Into A Thirst For Vengeance.

Patrick boards a jeepney headed home. He examines the book Mia had signed, and he’s exasperated to realize that she had left a note inviting Matmat to her next book readings. Matmat is excited over this.

Patrick calls Jason and asks him to accompany his brother tomorrow to the book reading, and Jason obliges, though he figures out that he’s trying to avoid Mia.

Gemma goes to Jason’s restaurant and he treats him and tells him about Patrick’s plan to relocate with his brother. Jason asks if she knows of any other hospital where he could work.

After Patrick earns some money from his side job, he makes his way out of the warehouse and Gemma calls out to him excitedly.

Mia orders Vincent to find her a new venue for her book reading since she no longer likes their current venue. In the meantime, Madeth has a hard time finding Patrick on social.

She calls her uncle for help, only for him to hang up on her. Patrick hangs out with Gemma as they reflect on their time together as coworkers at St. Monica Hospital. Gemma tries to encourage him to come back to her place in Maravida with his brother.

Flashback: Some cops at the precinct strive to get Matmat to describe his mother’s k!ller, but he keeps on screaming and making a fuss about the butterfly he saw; it’s going to come back and it’ll k!ll all of them.

Since the brothers have no known relatives, social workers decide to take Patrick and have Matmat admitted at a psychiatric clinic. Upon getting wind of this, Patrick sneaks away with his brother.

Mia spins a tale of a young boy plagued by nightmare creatures. He turns to a witch for help, and she banishes the monsters… but in doing so, takes away the boy’s capacity for joy too, leaving him empty and miserable.

Anyway, Matmat excitedly dresses up to attend Mia’s book reading event. Patrick takes him to the venue and has him join the queue for the autograph signing. He then steps away to answer a phone call from Jason.

Vincent has an encounter with a photographer called Dennis who’s a fan of Mia. Dennis mentions that he knows something about Mia and Ingrid her mother which could be a huge scandal if it’s ever brought to daylight.

Vincent indulges him and ushers him away for a private discussion. While Patrick is on the phone with Jason, Matmat sees a girl dressed as a tyrannosaurus and he playfully engages her and begins mumbling facts about the dinosaur.

When Matmat touches the girl, her father shoves him away and drags him by the hair, calling him a pervert. The commotion draws Mia’s attention.

Matmat snaps and begins making a scene, Patrick shows up and strives to calm him down. Mia comes down the stairs and demands for the man to apologize for disrupting her event.

Appalled, the man justifies his actions and his wife brands Matmat a lunatic. Patrick objects to this, saying that his brother has autism. As the man continues ranting, Mia grabs him by the hair and puts him in his place.

A nosy vlogger engages her viewers on the trending story as they share mixed reactions. Matmat confines himself in a room trying to process things.

Patrick stops Mia from going inside, saying that his brother will come out when he’s ready. Mia then begins flirting with Patrick. Suddenly, Dennis shows up with a box of hush money Vincent had given him.

He confronts Mia and taunts her over his intention to write about her mother, as well as the fact that her father is a psychiatric patient. He continuously provokes Mia and Patrick holds her back from pouncing on him.

Vincent and Madeth are worried sick trying to track down Mia. Meanwhile, an infuriated Mia decides to go after Dennis.

Patrick urges her not to do whatever she’s planning. Mia retorts, asking if he likes her and can handle her. Patrick stands down and Mia storms off.
