Lavender Fields Episode 40

“Iris discovers she’s pregnant as Zandro uncovers the truth behind his family’s murd£r through Harry’s confession, chooses justice over revenge, and spares Tyrone for now.”

Iris sat alone in her cell, recalling the video of Tyrone, Jasmin, and Camilla laughing together like a family. That fueled her anger, but she forced herself to stay calm. She needed to behave, if she wanted to get out of jail soon, she had to be the good girl.

Elsewhere, Jasmin and Tyrone were saying goodbye to Camilla, who was leaving with Lily. Camilla asked if she could keep the photos they had taken together and told Jasmin how much she would miss her.

She even said she wished Iris were there too. As they prepared to leave, Lily assured Jasmin that she would never keep Camilla away from her and promised they would work together to help the child accept the truth.

Later, Tyrone confessed to Jasmin that his heart felt heavy, he didn’t want to leave. Jasmin told him about her conversation with Lily and reassured him that Camilla would never forget him.

Tyrone apologized once again for everything he had done to her. Jasmin admitted that he had fulfilled every promise he made, but Tyrone still hoped she would one day find it in her heart to fully forgive him.

He told her he loved her and that his feelings had never faded. Jasmin could only look at him silently, unable to respond. At that moment, Zandro arrived. He handcuffed Tyrone and took him away.

As they drove off, Jasmin noticed flowers in Zandro’s car and felt an unsettling sense that something was wrong. Back in jail, Iris suddenly felt severe pain in her stomach.

She was rushed to a clinic, where the doctor revealed she was four months pregnant, a revelation that left her completely stunned. Instead of taking Tyrone to the station, Zandro drove him to the cemetery.

He dragged Tyrone to the graves of his wife and son and ordered him to beg for forgiveness. Tyrone refused, insisting he did not k!ll them. Zandro, blinded by grief, refused to believe him and vowed to ensure Tyrone rotted in jail.

He began beating Tyrone and was moments away from shooting him when Jasmin arrived, desperately begging him to stop. Zandro declared that k!lling Tyrone wouldn’t be enough, and that if he could, he would k!ll him twice.

Jasmin pleaded with him, reminding him that he was a man of the law and that justice should be handled legally. Zandro refused, believing he deserved to punish Tyrone himself.

Jasmin stood in front of Tyrone, refusing to move. Zandro accused her of defending Tyrone only because he was Camilla’s father, while she had everything to gain, her name cleared and her daughter returning to her, while he had lost everything.

Despite Jasmin’s repeated pleas and reminders of who he truly was, Zandro refused to back down. Finally, overwhelmed, he threw the key to Tyrone’s handcuffs to the ground and walked away.

Meanwhile, Harry and one of his men, who had been watching from afar, decided to attack when they realized Zandro wouldn’t k!ll Tyrone. Mr. Berting struck one of them from behind, causing Harry to fire.

A shootout erupted. Harry managed to escape, but as Zandro chased him, Harry nearly shot him, until Tyrone pulled Zandro out of harm’s way just in time.

Jasmin and Tyrone noticed Berting was wounded and rushed him to the hospital. Meanwhile, Zandro and Harry engaged in a brutal fight that ended with Harry being shot in the stomach. He collapsed, appearing lifeless.

Back at the jail, Iris was returned to her cell despite protesting that she was pregnant. The officers  informed her that pregnancy did not exempt her from incarceration.

At the hospital, Berting was recovering, thankfully, the bullet had missed any vital organs. Jasmin stayed close, deeply concerned. Harry, also hospitalized, reflected on the terror he had seen in his daughter’s eyes when she learned the kind of man he truly was.

Overcome with guilt, he confessed everything to Zandro. He revealed that Vitto had ordered countless crimes, and that he, Harry, had planted the bomb that k!lled Zandro’s wife and son.

Enraged, Zandro pointed his gun at him. Harry begged for forgiveness, but before anything else could happen, his condition worsened. The doctors were unable to save him, and Harry died from his injuries.

Later, Zandro informed Jasmin and Tyrone of Harry’s confession, that Vitto had ordered the bombing that k!lled his family. To make amends for wrongly accusing Tyrone, Zandro decided to give him more time with his family instead of arresting him immediately.

Meanwhile, Iris met with Vitto and her lawyer. Vitto believed her pregnancy could be a blessing in disguise. The lawyer agreed, explaining that not only could it help their case, but that they could even twist the narrative of the shooting by claiming Iris acted against a fugitive.

Iris asked about their businesses and was told everything was under Vitto’s name. Vitto told Iris he could not allow her or his unborn grandchild to suffer. He chose to make a sacrifice, asking only that Iris take care of Heather.

Iris promised to do everything she could to get him out as well. Her lawyer warned her to remain calm and not allow Jasmin to provoke her again. Iris agreed, vowing to be on her best behavior.
