Lavender Fields Episode 16

“Jethro ends up in Jasmin’s hands, and together with Zandro, they used him to lure Iris in their setup.”

Zandro and Eric raided the Buenavidez shipment basement along with Jasmin, who had to be in disguise. A shootout happened between Zandro, Eric, and Iris’s men.

While Iris’s men tried to deal with the two guys, Jethro took the opportunity to run away but was stopped by Iris, who ended up shooting him in the leg after an intense fight between them. She tried taking him away when Jasmin came from behind and knocked her unconscious.

Vittorio and Heather were talking when Heather asked if he had anything to do with what happened to Tyrone.

“Let’s just say that I won’t allow any of my children to be wronged” Vitto answered.

Not wanting to dwell on it, he wanted them to wait for Iris so Heather could be introduced to the board. She wanted to know when he was going to show her the basement of his other business and he looked on.

Meanwhile, Jethro tried running away when Jasmin stopped him, wanting to know how he knew Iris and why she was after him, but Jethro, who thought Jasmin would do something to him, pleaded with her to spare his life as he sobbed.

Zandro and Eric had to drag him with them as they left together. The police later arrived at the scene and seized all the firearms because they weren’t registered.

Meanwhile, Jasmin threatened to intensify Jethro’s pain if he didn’t tell her about his connection with Iris and what her business was, after he screamed, claiming he was in pain due to being shot.

“Jasmin… Jasmin, is it really you?” Jethro asked after realizing who was in front of him.

Jasmin told him she should have let him get killed because if he hadn’t taken the money she buried, her mother wouldn’t have been killed, and he explained that he didn’t know it would come to this.

Zandro and Jasmin interrogated Jethro about his connection with Iris, and he insisted that they approached him because they believed he was Jasmin’s accomplice.

Elsewhere, Iris was furious about what had happened earlier, and Vitto blamed her for letting the police into their operations. She explained that it was not her intention to do that because she wanted to get Jasmin.

He reminded her of the millions they lost because of her reckless action as he told her with concern that it wasn’t about the business but about her safety, because how could he protect her if she was acting so recklessly?

Meanwhile, in China, Tyrone recalled how he faked his death by using Fred’s corpse. Inside the prison, one inmate told him he’d be able to return to the Philippines since he was getting out soon.

Tyrone explained that his situation was complicated because he didn’t know what was going to happen to him once he went there.

Despite tipping the police about the firearms found and the shootout at one of the Buenavidez businesses, Zandro still believed that wasn’t enough evidence and they needed solid evidence against the Buenavidez.

Jasmin assured him she’d do everything to get even closer to Iris. Rod explained to Vittorio that he didn’t think Zandro was involved in what happened, though he was still on Tyrone’s case.

Vitto was furious at Rod’s inability to control Zandro and at him not knowing anything that happened at the port, allowing his goods to be seized. Vitto, without hesitation, took a gun and shot Rod, k!lling him on the spot, as he believed Rod was useless.

Iris was talking to Lily as she believed Jasmin had her people and that they were the ones who killed her men.

“This was a battle, but she just declared a war,” Iris said coldly.

Lily feared Jasmin and her people could know what Tyrone knew and might expose their business, but Iris didn’t think so because she believed if Jasmin could do that, she would have done so a long time ago.

Lily still suggested they be careful and should pause their operations; however, Iris quickly said no, believing that doing that would mean admitting she lost.

They were arguing when Jethro called Iris, telling her he was ready to surrender his business partner as he showed her a glimpse of Jasmin, who was tied. He told her he’d hand Jasmin to her if, in exchange, he got 20 million from her.

“Okay! Just don’t let her get away,” Iris told him.

Jethro praised Jasmin for her act after his call with Iris as Zandro reminded him of their plan. Jasmin reminded him to press Iris until she mentioned the illegal activity they did in their business, while Iris was already on her way to meet with Jethro.
