“Jethro falls into Iris’s hands just as Jasmin learns the shocking truth about her real daughter meanwhile Tyrone turns out to be alive, stranded in a harsh Chinese prison and fighting to survive.”
Jethro was caught by some people he owed money to, and they threatened to hurt him if he didn’t pay. He promised he would pay in three days. They accepted but warned him about what would happen if he failed. While still shaken, Iris arrived a bit later and tapped his shoulder, startling him.
“You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” Iris said.
Trying to compose himself, Jethro flirtatiously replied that he’d seen an angel, before noticing Iris had come with her people. Iris began asking questions about his business but kept twisting her words.
Realizing he wouldn’t tell her the truth, she directly told him she knew everything about him, shocking him. Iris’s men then took him away after drugging him.
Meanwhile, Jasmin was telling Aster about Zandro wanting her to infiltrate the Buenavidez business, and Aster asked how she planned to do that. Jasmin said she only needed to get close to Iris, her friends, and their kids.
Aster asked about the DNA results, and Jasmin told her it would be out anytime. Elsewhere, a doctor called Rod to inform him that Zandro had a DNA test done. Rod lost his cool, furious that Zandro already had the results.
Aster wanted to know what Jasmin would do once she found out which of the three girls belonged to her, knowing it wouldn’t be easy to take the child from her parents. Jasmin said she would let the child love her, even if she couldn’t tell her she was her mother.
Iris and Vittorio were having breakfast, talking about Jethro and his involvement with Jasmin, but Iris’s mood shifted when Heather joined them. Heather assured her they could talk freely around her since she also knew everything about Jasmin.
She warned Iris to be careful because she didn’t want their dad to get hurt, knowing how dangerous Jasmin was. Understanding her concern, Iris told her it would be best if she returned to where she came from so she could stay safe.
Vittorio tried to intervene, but Iris quickly shushed him as she received a call informing her that Jethro was awake. Meanwhile, Zandro and Jasmin met up, and he told her the results of the DNA conducted on the three girls, one of them matched hers, proving that child was her daughter.
He revealed that Angel wasn’t her daughter as she originally believed, and that her real daughter was Camilla. Jasmin, in disbelief, asked how he was sure, and he explained why.
However, Jasmin thought it was impossible for Camilla to be her daughter since Lily had gotten pregnant and given birth to her. Meanwhile, Lance insisted they leave the country next week, but Lily kept refusing.
Lance tried to make her understand, reminding her how dangerous the Buenavidez family was, but Lily defended them, saying everything they did was to protect their family and business.
Since she struggled to believe Camilla could be her daughter, Zandro suggested doing another DNA test for Camilla and Lily. Jasmin recalled how close Iris was to Camilla and how much they loved each other, then remembered Iris’s determination to find Jasmin’s child so she could get to Jasmin.
Tyrone was shown imprisoned in China, severely beaten by inmates and left weak. In the Philippines, Jethro woke up tied up, thinking it was his debtors, but when Iris appeared, he became curious about what she wanted from him.
Iris questioned his connection with Jasmin, pressing him on whether Jasmin was the one who made him rich. Jethro remembered how he dug up the money Jasmin and her mother buried, but he told Iris he didn’t know what she was talking about, earning a punch from her.
Meanwhile, Erick, who had followed Iris, called Zandro and informed him of Iris’s location. Jasmin suggested going along. On the way, Zandro told her she shouldn’t have come, fearing something might happen to her, but she assured him she’d be fine.
Jethro was tortured as Iris demanded to know if he and Jasmin were partners, but he kept denying it. After several rounds of torture and questioning, Jethro finally recognized Iris as Tyrone’s widow and mocked her for losing her husband to a “country bumpkin.”
Realizing he was about to be shot, he confessed that he and Jasmin were business partners. In China, Tyrone recalled how he was imprisoned for assault, insisting it was self-defense because the other man tried to steal his money.
No matter how much he explained, the officer didn’t believe him, and the money found with him made it hard to believe he was telling the truth.
