Lavender Fields Episode 5

“Jasmin gets close to Iris’s friends and ends up landing the job of organizing Iris’s birthday, using the opportunity to get close and quietly observe her.”

The episode starts with Aster introducing Jasmin as her niece, Lavender, to Ian. She tells him Jasmin will be working for her, and Ian welcomes Jasmin warmly, saying he looks forward to seeing her work since he’s heard she’s a great tablescape artist.

Meanwhile, Iris returns home after four years, and Vittorio wastes no time telling her how much he missed her. After watching Jasmin sweetly converse with another child, Aster assures her that a day will come when she’ll have her own child back.

Meanwhile, Iris arrives home to little Camilla, who lights up with excitement upon seeing her. Both are visibly happy to be reunited. Jasmin begins digging for information as she searches online for every article ever published about Iris.

Elsewhere, Iris meets up with her friends. She cheerfully gives each of them a gift and then hands another one to Lily, saying it’s for her favorite goddaughter since she forgot to give it to her the previous day.

The friends talk about Iris’s friendship with Lily, and Lily thanks Vittorio for paying her tuition, saying that without his help, she’d probably be raising pigs in San Pascual.

Iris excitedly mentions celebrating her birthday after four years, and her friends tell her not to worry because they’ve already arranged everything and booked the best event stylist in the country.

Jasmin follows Iris’s friends to a mall after seeing a photo Petunia posted on social media. She bumps into Petunia, quickly hides the woman’s wallet, then later returns it, explaining she found it after they collided.

Impressed by her kindness, Petunia invites Jasmin to join them. Hearing them discuss Iris’s birthday, Jasmin offers that she and her aunt could handle the party since Aster Fields is her aunt and she herself is also in event styling.

Petunia politely declines, saying they’ve already booked someone else. At home, Aster tells Jasmin she knows the stylist Iris’s friends hired because she’s worked with her before, and she didn’t like her attitude since she plays dirty.

“If that’s the case, then she deserves to lose her client,” Jasmin replies.

Petunia later meets Jasmin at the gym and happily introduces her to her husband. Katie, the stylist they hired for Iris’s party, arrives to discuss the event.

A man approaches Petunia flirtatiously, enraging her, and she suddenly attacks Katie, accusing her of telling him about her past job. Jasmin steps in to defend Petunia and after going out, she gestured the guy to leave.

Zandro’s colleagues surprise him after he solves a case they’d been working on for two years. He’s given a new partner who will work under him.

Zandro isn’t pleased, as he prefers working alone, but Corpuz tells him that just because he doesn’t like something doesn’t mean he’ll get his way. Zandro reluctantly agrees to let Pascual work with him.

Iris’s party is held at TLGT (The Luxe Grand Terrace), a place owned by the Fields. Iris arrives with Vittorio, and her friends wish her a happy birthday. She spots Jasmin, and Jasmin tells her she’s thrilled to finally meet her.

She introduces herself as Lavender, and Iris says she already knows because Petunia told her Lavender was the one given the gig, and she hopes she won’t disappoint. Jasmin chuckles and extends her hand for a handshake, but Iris walks away.

Meanwhile, Max spots Lavender and secretly takes a photo of her without her knowing. Jasmin keeps her eyes on Iris the entire time, watching everything she does and everyone she talks to.

During his speech, Vittorio thanks everyone for coming to celebrate his daughter’s birthday. He mentions the tragedy their family faced years ago and promises always to be there for her. As the celebration continues, Jasmin steps away, unaware that Max is now following her.
