Lavender Fields Episode 4

“Jasmin loses her baby after giving birth alone, and convinced the Buenavidez family took the child, she undergoes a full makeover and assumes a new identity as Lavender fields to get close to Iris and uncover the truth.”

The episode starts with Jasmin sneaking to the church where her mother’s funeral is being held. She watches from outside, sobbing, her face severely wounded and bruised as she remembers a moment she once shared with her mother when she was young.

Meanwhile, Iris has Max looking around in case Jasmin shows up so he can capture her. Zandro spots Iris outside the church and approaches her. Both know they have no business with the deceased.

Zandro explains he’s there for work in case the suspect shows up, and he already guesses Iris came for personal reasons. He tells her that whoever her husband is involved with are very powerful people and wonders why Jasmin has a different opinion of Tyrone.

Iris replies that they’ll know the answer once Jasmin is captured. He advises her to keep her distance as she might get hurt, but she laughs it off, telling him not to worry because she can handle herself.

“Don’t you trust me?” he asks her.

“After what my husband did, I find it hard to trust anyone,” she tells him.

Mr. Berting gets Jasmin into his car as he tries to help her leave, unaware that Iris has seen them and is now chasing their car. Mr. Berting tells Jasmin she shouldn’t have come because the police are looking for her since she’s a suspect, and Jasmin insists she’s innocent.

She explains she came because she had to see her mom for the last time. While talking, they notice Iris’s car following them and speed up to avoid her.

Mr. Berting eventually crashes the car. Injured, he tells Jasmin to run so she can save her child. Jasmin reluctantly leaves and hides inside another car.

Elsewhere, Zandro tells Iris about the events of the day regarding Jasmin, explaining that not only are the police looking for her, but the people who k!lled Tyrone are also hunting her. Iris replies that maybe they’ve offended people aside from her family.

Meanwhile, Jasmin finds a safe place where she delivers her baby. She wakes up the next morning to find her baby missing. Desperate, she searches around hoping to find her child.

She meets a man and tells him about her missing baby, and he goes to call the police so they can help. Hearing that the police are involved, Jasmin runs off and sneaks into Aster’s van, where Aster and her staff are buying flowers.

On the way home, Aster’s driver notices a checkpoint, and hearing their conversation, Jasmin panics. She comes out of her hiding place and begs Aster to help because she can’t go to jail without finding her daughter.

She insists she isn’t a bad person. Jasmin later thanks Aster after they manage to get through without the police noticing or reporting her. Aster brings Jasmin home, and Jasmin, sobbing, tells her about her baby’s disappearance and begs her to help find the child. Aster agrees.

Later, after cleaning up, Jasmin asks Aster why she is helping her, and Aster says it’s because she needed help. The next morning, Jasmin leaves Aster’s place and heads to the Buenavidez home, sneaking inside because she believes her baby might be there.

However, after searching and finding no one except a few photos of Iris and Tyrone, she causes an explosion as she leaves, setting the house on fire. At home, after seeing the news about the fire, Aster reprimands Jasmin for making things worse for herself.

Jasmin counters that Iris might have her child because she has left the country. Fed up, Aster asks if she’s sure, and Jasmin insists her baby is with Iris. Aster tells her what she did was wrong.

Jasmin argues that Aster doesn’t understand her pain because she hasn’t lost her child. Aster then emotionally reveals that her own daughter has been missing for three years.

Now recovered, Jasmin is trained on how to approach Iris, and Aster tells her that she needs to get close to Iris because as long as Iris sees her as an enemy, she won’t get what she wants.

They continue grooming Jasmin so she can be fully prepared before starting her mission. Jasmin undergoes a total transformation.
Jasmin and Aster attend a wedding, and as Jasmin steps out of the car, Aster tells her that with her new face, her new name is Lavender Fields.
