Lavender Fields Episode 3

“Jasmin and her mother face danger from the Buenavidez family over the missing money, leading to a violent confrontation, but Jasmin narrowly escapes while Iris and Vittorio scheme to find her.”

Tyrone’s family held a wake for him. Zandro arrived, introducing himself as the chief investigator assigned to Tyrone’s case, and asked Iris and Vittorio to discuss the updates elsewhere since the case was sensitive.

Meanwhile, Jasmin came to pay her respects, bringing flowers, which her mother reminded her was wrong, though Jasmin explained that she only wanted to pay her respects one last time.

Zandro briefed them on what they discovered about the dead body, noting that the victim had been tortured before being k!lled, Iris speculated that the money thieves could have fought among themselves.

She also mentioned Tyrone’s mistress, believing she could be the mastermind behind the theft. Instead of entering the building, Jasmin gave the flowers to someone outside to take inside.

Later, Iris saw the basket and lost her temper, demanding to know who brought it. When told it was a woman, she became furious, assuming it was Tyrone’s mistress. They checked the CCTV footage and saw Jasmin and her mother.

While Vittorio was irritated that the footage only captured their side and doubted she could be the mistress, Iris stared at the screen and muttered, “Cheap flowers, cheap taste, cheap woman… but her flowers are fresh, and she no longer attempts to come in; I have to hand it to her, she tried.”

Noticing something else on the screen, she said, “Zoom in on the church entrance.” When Vittorio asked why, “She’s pregnant.” Iris replied with a mix of pain and anger. Vittorio inquired about the places Tyrone had visited before going missing.

Upon hearing that he had been to San Remo, he concluded that Tyrone’s mistress could be there, knowing the place was full of flowers. Iris instructed Max to start investigating from there and ask if anyone knew Tyrone.

Max asked what he should do if someone did, and Vittorio told him he’d get his instructions from him. Iris wanted to handle it herself, but Vittorio assured her that he would deal with it, insisting that he wouldn’t let anyone hurt her.

Meanwhile, Jasmin and her mother discussed Tyrone, with Jasmin struggling to accept that someone could have k!lled him, as she had never seen him as a bad person. Rosita reminded her not to be fooled by appearances, as everyone has secrets.

They wondered where Tyrone got so much money. Jasmin suggested dividing the money to do something good, like donating to churches. Rosita agreed, playfully telling her daughter she was glad Jasmin hadn’t inherited her greed.

Jasmin said they didn’t need the money and would be fine. Elsewhere, Max was driving to San Remo after completing his investigation in Balagtas when Iris called to ask if he had found Jasmin and reminded him to report to her first.

Meanwhile, Zandro, investigating the accident scene, found Tyrone’s phone, quickly took it, and hid it. He called Jasmin, shocking her when she saw Arthur calling; she showed her mother but refused to answer, not wanting her life to get messy.

Max arrived at a location showing Arthur’s photo and asking people if they knew him. They confirmed they did. He went to Rosita and Jasmin, but both denied knowing him. Later, Jasmin took out the money, telling her mother she was sure it was the money they were looking for.

Rosita worriedly suggested returning it to avoid trouble, but Jasmin explained that doing so could put them in danger. She wanted to find out what the people wanted from them and suggested leaving for Balagtas.

Max’s search led him to Jethro, who revealed that Jasmin was the ex he had dumped and mocked her for ending up with Arthur, who was now gone after getting her pregnant. Max asked Jethro to take him to Jasmin, but he initially refused, saying he was drinking with friends.

Seeing the money offered to him, he changed his mind. Elsewhere, Zandro continued trying to find information about Tyrone and learned from the police about Jasmin’s past attempts to contact him.

Meanwhile, Vittorio and Iris discussed Tyrone’s double life and identified Jasmin Flores as his mistress. Iris told her father that she wanted to see Jasmin’s face, making sure no one else knew.

Jasmin and Rosita planned to leave but were spotted by Max and his men, who inquired about Jasmin. They lied, saying they were there to buy something, claiming Jasmin wasn’t home. She asked them to wait for her to return and took the opportunity to leave.

Before they could go further, Jethro arrived, calling out Jasmin’s name and telling Max that she was his girlfriend. Max ordered his men to capture her, but Jasmin fought them off until Max brought out a gun.

He called Vittorio to report finding Jasmin, and Vittorio instructed Max to retrieve the money and bring Jasmin to them, not caring what happened to Rosita. Vittorio demanded that it be made to look like an accident.

Max interrogated Jasmin and her mother about the money, but Jasmin denied having it. When he and his men began searching the house, Jasmin grabbed a frying pan already on the stove with hot oil to defend herself.

As she and her mother tried to escape, Max shot Rosita and forcibly dragged Jasmin, as the whole house on fire. Max demanded to know where Jasmin had hidden the money, continuing to beat her as her face became bruised.

Jasmin refused to answer. Noticing Vittorio and Iris, Max went to get them, and Iris demanded to know what should be done to Jasmin once she revealed the money’s location. When they arrived, Jasmin was gone.

During the search for Jasmin, Iris found her and demanded to know how long she and Tyrone had been cheating. Jasmin defended herself, insisting she didn’t know he was married, but Iris refused to believe her, accusing her of being Tyrone’s mistress and claiming he stole the money to start a new life with her.

Jasmin and Iris struggled over a gun, and Iris was accidentally shot during the fight. Jasmin quickly fled before Vittorio and his men could capture her. At the hospital, Iris, unconscious, dreamed about telling Tyrone she was pregnant and reliving their time together until she lost the baby.

She saw Jasmin caressing her baby bump as she sobbed. Iris awoke, and Vittorio informed her that the doctor said she was okay. Vittorio told her to leave the search for Jasmin to him, promising that Jasmin would be found sooner or later and that she would pay for everything, including Tyrone’s death.

Iris reminded Vittorio that they must find Jasmin before the police do, fearing that she might reveal details about her mother’s murder and abduction, with the fear that Tyrone may have told Jasmin everything.

“At this point, it’s her word against ours. You’re the victim here. We’re the victim,” Vittorio assured.
