“Jasmin opens her heart to Arthur, unaware of the secrets he hides behind his gentle smile and kind gestures.”
The episode starts with Jasmin in her serene flower garden, carefully cutting fresh lavender blooms under the morning sun. On her way back home, she saw bloodstains. Curious, she walked toward it and found a wounded man lying there.
Later that day, as she treated his wounds, she started talking to him, asking questions, but without saying much, he thanked her, saying he needed to go. Before leaving, he introduced himself as Arthur, thanking her once again.
“Take care,” Jasmin told him.
The next morning, as Jasmin was doing some boxing exercises, Jethro came to her, repeatedly confessing how much he loved her, but she insisted she didn’t like him. He tried to use force on her, but she defended herself and managed to kick him out of her place, an act that was seen by Arthur.
They talked about how she knew self defense, and she explained that her dad was a policeman. She took him around her flower garden, talking about her business and her dream of becoming an accountant, as Arthur revealed to her that he was an accountant.
Jasmin happily introduced Arthur to her mom, Rosita, and the woman could only warn Arthur about her daughter, telling him that her daughter wasn’t one of those flowers he could just pick and take home.
Seeing the way her mom was talking, Jasmin quickly interrupted her and changed the topic to something else. She apologized to Arthur for her mom’s behavior, and he assured her that it was okay.
Arthur started frequently visiting Jasmin’s flower garden and began getting used to their way of work. Jethro watched them from afar with jealousy. Arthur jokingly told Jasmin to pay him for his work, and she smilingly told him there was nothing to pay, asking who told him to expect anything.
Smiling, he told her it was okay because he enjoyed being with her, which made all the troubles worth it. She told him she enjoyed being with him too, and he kissed her, confessing that he loved her. “I love you too,” Jasmin said.
Getting carried away by their emotions, they made love, and later that night, Rosita saw them. She started accusing Arthur of taking advantage of her daughter, saying he had taken advantage of Jasmin’s stupidity.
They tried to explain, but she refused to listen, insisting Arthur had taken advantage of Jasmin. At home, Rosita worriedly reminded her daughter that she had only met Arthur a month ago, yet she’d already given herself to him.
She told her she didn’t even know him, but Jasmin explained everything Arthur had told her about himself, trying to make her mother understand that Arthur wasn’t a danger and that they both loved each other.
Rosita reminded her of what she’d been through, and Jasmin assured her that it was precisely because she had seen what her mother had gone through that she wanted her to trust her, assuring her to trust her decision.
The next morning, Jasmin tried to convince her mother to give Arthur a chance, but Rosita worriedly warned her to be careful because she had a bad feeling about Arthur.
Meanwhile, Arthur got into his car, put on his wedding ring, hid his phone, and took out an old one that had many unread messages from his wife. He took out a gun as he drove off.
Arthur arrived home to a surprise birthday party thrown for him. Iris, Arthur’s wife, later came to the party drunk and almost caused a scene, and had to be taken away by Arthur.
Later, Vittorio told Arthur he thought he and Iris had made up, but Arthur replied that he didn’t know how to fix his relationship with Iris anymore because he’d been trying for two years. Vittorio asked him to find a way, saying that whenever his daughter got hurt, he didn’t like it.
“Besides, you don’t want to see me angry,” he added.
Jasmin tried calling Arthur but couldn’t reach him. Her mom told her that’s how men are, they disappear the moment they get what they want. But Jasmin didn’t want to believe that and thought something might have happened.
Rosita insisted it was just how things were since it had been two months with no news from Arthur. Jasmin reminded her mom that she hadn’t been able to sense when her dad would leave them and start another relationship with Fernan, who turned out to be abusive and often hurt them both, yet she hadn’t sensed anything before starting that relationship.
She tearfully explained to her mother that she never thought Arthur would disappear, nor did she think she’d love like this or get hurt like this. Rosita hugged her daughter to console her.
During a meeting at the company, Iris was furious because some money had gone missing. One of her workers told her it could be Stephanie, as she’d resigned and was already living in America with her boyfriend.
Iris, in disbelief, wondered how they could have accessed 23 million pesos. Arthur arrived and told them more than 50 million were missing. He took full responsibility for what had happened and assured them he’d take charge of the investigation.
Iris rejected his offer and assigned the investigation to Harry, the head of security, telling him to look into it since she didn’t like being deceived. Arthur could only look at her without saying a word.
Later, Iris spotted Arthur in the pool. She wanted to know if he had any news about Stephanie, but he reminded her that she had given the investigation to Harry, so there was nothing he could say.
She explained that she was just looking out for him and tried getting closer to him, kissing him, but he pulled back, saying it had been a long day. He walked away, leaving her disappointed.
