Andres Faces Off With His Brother. Gabriela Makes A Timely Rescue. A Tragedy of Sorts Unfolds As Chaos Ensues.

Gabriela finds the van the kidnappers had used abandoned and she’s left frustrated. Back at the charity event, the host honors various donors of the charity event and eventually, Selo gets on stage to give a speech.

Once he wraps up, he invites Diego and Andres is taken by surprise to see his brother. Ninong pulls a fast one on the kidnappers and makes a run for it. After Diego is done with his speech, JB comes up with a plan to protect both the subject and Tomas.

When Max states that there’ll be collateral, JB points out that people will get hurt either way. Ninong doesn’t get far as he’s caught by the kidnappers again and roughed up.

Having slipped away again, and with the voice changer phone, Diego  orders Tomas to eliminate Barrios once she shows up. Andres comes upon the scene to hear this. Diego runs off and Andres pursues him.

Meanwhile, Sec. Barrios gets on stage to give her speech and Tomas painstakingly walks over with the gun at the ready. Andres catches up to his brother and confronts him over his plan to k!ll Sec. Barrios.

Jun argues that they’re in the same business and Andres objects to it, saying that he doesn’t take illegal contracts or k!ll the innocent. He strives to talk some sense into his brother, pointing out how Manuel has been manipulating him.

Andres urges Jun to call off his people and come with him, and he retorts that many will get hurt if they don’t take out Barrios. And with that, he attacks and Andres fends him off and easily beats him.

Eventually, Jun asks for them to stop fighting, citing the fact that they’re brothers. Andres falls for it of course. Fortunately, Gabriela arrives in the nick of time to rescue Ninong from the clutches of the kidnappers.

As Sec. Barrios continues with her speech, Tomas asks JB to protect her, saying that he won’t do what the blackmailer asked him to do. JB then has Barrios escorted away along with her security.

Out of nowhere, Lisa shows up and shoots Barrios and the guards take her down. As expected, Jun pulls a fast one on his brother by smashing a vase into his head. He then disorients him with deliberate misfires.

Tomas is finally able to breathe again when Gabriela notifies him that his uncle is safe. His anxious demeanor turns into that of vengeance.
As Jun makes his escape, JB gets the jump on him and lamely offers to extract him to safety.

Jun attacks but he’s obviously no match for JB. However, JB’s reluctance to shoot becomes his undoing as Jun takes advantage to riddle his body with a couple of bullets.

As he towers over JB to deal the k!lling shot, JB drops him by shooting him in the leg. Andres comes upon the scene and JB takes cover as some goons show up guns blazing.

Jun rises to his feet to join the onslaught and he ends up getting shot multiple times. Andres hurries to his brother’s aid just as Max, Miguel and Tomas hurry over to JB’s. At home, Grandma has a premonition and she becomes inconsolable. 

While Selo calls Manuel to deliver the bad news, Andres takes his brother to the hospital where the doctors attend to him. In the meantime, Max and Miguel also take JB to a contact of Greg’s called Dr. Carpio.

Andres waits desperately for updates on his brother’s condition, only for the doctor to inform him that he didn’t make it. Also, he needs to wait for his body to be prepared before he can see him.
