Max Finally Let’s Go. Tomas Faces Family Issues. JB Prioritizes Caution Over Speed As The Team Close In On Their Target.
JB is exasperated when a buddy of his tells him that his father’s freedom can be arranged, but at the price of 50 million. He gives the guy the goahead to get it done. Meanwhile, the Contractor receives a verified update on someone called Agno.
He reflects on a botched operation with two comrades, Sim/Giraffe and Lion/Agno. Agno had been captured by the enemies in their desperate attempt to retreat. While Max burns Sevi’s keepsakes, Tomas is exasperated to learn of how his uncle had fallen victim to an investment scam.
Ninong resolves to go into hiding since someone he had recruited had filed a case against him. Tomas promises to settle the issue. Miguel decides to hire security to watch over his family should Jake’s “k!ller” come for them.
Max tags along with Tomas to a bar for a drink. They find Gabriela there and Tomas has his usual banter with her. Gabriela’s mood turns sour when she notices Shari with some shopping bags, and Tomas doesn’t help matters.
Later that night, the team gathers their gear and loads them into their vehicles. The Contractor gives the final briefing, revealing that he won’t be joining them on the mission. The team then carries on, making the long drive to the target location.
They park their cars at an inconspicuous place in the woods before they advance toward the mountain on foot. Halfway to the drug lord’s hideout, they come across a community. JB orders the team to secure a fallback point before resuming their trek.
Meanwhile, Greg goes to see Sim to inform him about the intel on Agno. JB has the team take a rest at the fallback point. After a while, Miguel does a sweep on top of a tree and when he spots enemies approaching, he sounds the alarm.
JB wakes everyone up and they quickly clear out of the place and take cover before they’re made. In the meantime, Greg takes Sim to a location where authorities work the crime scene of Agno’s grave. It is speculated that he died about two years ago.
Miguel does a perimeter sweep and the team carries on when he gives the all clear. Greg decides to have a proper burial for Agno, though he doesn’t think it’ll be enough since he had been tørtüred by the enemies.
Team Incognito camp somewhere near the community, and Tomas makes a pretty pathetic attempt to patch things up with Gabriela. After doing another sweep, Miguel reveals to JB that the village is fast asleep and JB declares that it’s time to move.
Luis greets the security personnels standing guard outside the house. He heads inside and asks Grandma Esang about the kind of work Andres does, and the old woman says she only knows he has a lot of part-time jobs. Esang tries to call her grandson on the phone but the call doesn’t connect.
Meanwhile, Team Incognito navigate their way stealthily through the sleeping village, unaware that they’ve been spotted by a woman, thanks to their flashlights. The next morning, with barely 5km to the target’s house, Andres suggests that they should reroute and head north since there are a lot of enemies ahead of them.
Max argues that it’s going to take an extra 3 hours if they turn around, and Andres asks for JB’s call. JB seconds Andres and resolves to take the safer route. In the enemy’s camp, Monching intimidates Emer, a teen militant and sends him off to deliver some food to a nearby room.
Inside, a guy wearing a breathing mask is stirring a bubbling liquid in a giant container in a dimly lit meth lab. Classical music plays in the background, and he’s dancing to the rhythm with an eerie calmness.
