Chaos Is Unleashed On The Wedding Day. With Ivy Trapped, Diego Takes A Stand & Faces off with Arnaldo.
The priest stands before the congregation, requesting everyone to take their seats so that the wedding ceremony can proceed. He poses a critical question, asking if anyone in attendance opposes the union.
As silence fills the church, with no one daring to voice their objections, the ceremony moves forward without interruption. Meanwhile, outside, Diego and Jepoy are on a frantic search for the henchmen Emilia has hired to eliminate Ivy.
During their pursuit, Diego unexpectedly discovers a bømb that is just moments away from detonation. Acting quickly, he grabs the device, rushes out of the church grounds, and hurls it into a nearby rice field.
The bømb explodes mid-air, startling onlookers but fortunately causing no injuries. Inside the church, the explosion disrupts the wedding, sending ripples of alarm through the congregation.
Claire turns to Julio, questioning whether they are under attack, to which Julio reassures her that it is not an assault but rather a planned stunt for the newlyweds. He urges everyone to remain calm and to take their seats once more so that they can continue with the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Jepoy manages to capture another of Emilia’s hired men, unleashing his frustration with a brutal beating that leaves the man unconscious. Back at home, Camia is consumed with worry about Ivy’s wedding, and Ana stays by her side, attempting to soothe her fears.
Nanny Loring and Pandoy arrive to inform them about the explosion, prompting Ana to turn on the television. They see news coverage of the chaos, but when they change the channel, they find that the wedding is still ongoing.
As the ceremony resumes, Arnaldo begins to recite his vows, expressing his deep løve for Ivy and recounting their journey together. His heartfelt words resonate with the audience, drawing coos of admiration from those watching at home.
Meanwhile, Jepoy, still outside, is anxious about the unfolding events and urges Diego to act swiftly, as Arnaldo is already in the midst of his vows. Diego tries to make a phone call for help, but his attempts go unanswered.
When it is Ivy’s turn to speak, she takes a moment to reflect on her past, sharing her happiness that Arnaldo has chosen to love her despite her being an orphan. She reveals the pain of losing her beloved Nanny Carlota, which visibly unsettles Arnaldo.
Nevertheless, she acknowledges Arnaldo’s support in helping her cope with her grief. As the priest asks Arnaldo if he accepts Ivy as his wife, Jepoy reaches a breaking point. He contemplates shooting Arnaldo to prevent him from completing the vows but is restrained by Diego, who continues trying to make a call.
Arnaldo hastily responds affirmatively to the priest’s question, and when Ivy is asked if she accepts Arnaldo, she hesitates, looking around nervously.
The Ardientes grow anxious at her silence, while Camia, watching from home, tears up in distress. With Ivy’s lack of response prompting concern, the priest repeats the question, and Jepoy implores Diego for a plan to halt the wedding.
Just in time, Diego bursts into the church, calling for the ceremony to stop before Ivy can be forced into a commitment. The congregation turns to face him, and as Arnaldo approaches Diego, a tense confrontation brews.
Diego locks eyes with Ivy, silently urging her to look away as a news broadcast suddenly captures everyone’s attention, revealing Arthur holding Arnaldo hostage and exposing shocking truths that will forever change the course of their lives.Read Next Episode on Wildflower Episode 68
