Incognito Episode 2

An Elite Team Is Forged For An Impossible Mission, Paving Way For A Dangerous Leverage Game.

Max heads into town and ends up getting targeted by some men. Having tried in vain to shake them off, she resolves to take them on and easily bests them. Once Tom notices that he’s being tailed, he makes a run for it and ends up getting trapped by his pursuers.

Upon spotting Greg, he stands at ease and salutes him. Meanwhile, JB visits home to see his father, telling him that he won’t be able to come over for a while. The old man reprimands him, not pleased with what he’s done with his life.

Flashback: JB is indicted for treason, having gone against the president in his justice crusade. Army chief Bonifacio visits him in detention to lecture him and express his disapproval, upset that his actions are bound to ruin his reputation.

At present, Tom decides to leave his uncle’s place for a better job offer he had received. He leaves after saying goodbye to his uncle. While Max breaks into a house and goes about her business, Andres talks to Grandma Esang on the phone after sending her some money.

The next day, Greg meets up with his recruits which now includes Max. When Andres joins them, Greg briefs them about the ground rules and the group, declaring that they’re now a team and they need to work together.

Greg takes a moment to make some introductions, highlighting the diverse expertise of each member of the group. Jose Bonifacio (JB); ex-Navy, counterterrorism, special recon, combat diving, expert in urban warfare.

Miguel Tecson; army EOD, sniper, doctor. Andres Malvar; scout ranger, CQC, anti-guerrilla warfare. Max Alvero; cyber ops, the best hacker money can buy. When Tom asks what the colonel’s expertise is, Max fills him in; navy intelligence XO, top brass.

Miguel then asks why Tom is there since he’s not exactly on their level, and JB reveals that he was his former student in the Special Forces Reserve. As the guy begins blowing his own horn, JB cuts him off. Greg declares that he needs all of their expertise to guarantee the success of the mission.

In no time, Greg briefs the team on their first mission and they’re surprised to learn that their goal is to abduct the son of the notorious crime lord and use him as leverage to get back the Ambassador’s daughter.

Greg cautions JB and the others about the dangers of the job, stating that they only have 24 hours to capture Donato from Rosa Island. He stresses that they’re going to be in a whole lot of trouble if they’re caught in Azur Island; it’s a death trap since the place is run by Donato and his cousins.

All the more reason for them to work incognito and capture Donato on Rosa Island. Greg deliberately contacts Timor in the guise of negotiating with him. He asks him for proof of life and the crime lord obliges and sends a video of Takako alive.

He gives him 3 days to meet his demands or face the consequences. On the phone, Timor lectures his son for slacking off in his duties, charging him to shape up since he’s the only heir to his empire.

Greg briefs the team on the places where Donato usually frequents, stating that they must monitor him and figure out the best place to grab him without putting any civilians in harm’s way.

Greg then makes mention of some details about the Escalera cousins – Donato, Eugene his business partner, a.k.a Clover, Sylvia a.ka Heart, and Francis a.k.a Diamond .

Since it’s his first ever mission and he’s not ex-military like the others, Tom asks Andres for some tips and the guy notes that he shouldn’t be too loud or annoying because he’s too young to die.

While Greg meets with a contact for information on the Tree House, one of the places where Donato frequents, the rest of the team employ diverse covers to blend into the fishing community on Rosa Island. Tom poses as a tourist, taking selfies and videos which Max in turn uses to do her thing.

As she types away on her laptop at a spot near the Tree House, JB joins her and tries to strike up a conversation. Eventually, he leaves her to her devices to survey the place, inadvertently bumping into Clover.
