Drama Unfolds As Wilson Appoints GLC’s New COO, Putting Annie On Edge. Bingo Bonds With Ling & Reveals The Truth About Their Trip.
Irene has a hard time remembering the different types of nails at the warehouse. As Snoop spies, Aldrich saves Irene from getting hit by a material a worker is carrying. Meanwhile, Ling insists for Bingo to join her in the bed so he doesn’t get sick sleeping on the cold floor.
They sleep on opposite sides of the bed and the next morning, they wake up with their faces so close and their hands on each other. Once the situation registers in their heads, Bingo and Ling abruptly pull away from each other and try to downplay the incident.
Later, they dine with MS. Girlie and some others and Mr. Ibe their boss drops by to meet them. Caroline launches into talk mode as she pitches she and Bingo’s business ideas to him. Mr. Ibe asks them to prepare the proposal and contract because he needs to attend to something.
The Tius file into the conference room for the election and Charleston is exasperated when Carlo asks him to step down for him. When Wilson arrives, Sherwin calls for the voting to begin but he cuts him off, saying that they’re not complete because they need to wait for Caroline.
Wilson then gives Thea the go signal. Bingo asks Ling how she’s been dealing with the Orchid Place fiasco and her mother’s supposed involvement. As Ling talks things out with him, she receives a link from Thea which she uses to join the meeting.
The voting commences then with Charleston in the lead and Bettina following close by. Eventually, Sherwin notes that the decision depends solely on Wilson. As everyone waits in anticipation, Wilson is burdened with the decision he has to make.
He calls for a 15 minutes break and leaves the room to go and collect his thoughts. He calls Caroline on the phone but then hangs up at the last minute. Upon returning to the conference room, Wilson gives a sentimental speech and shocks everyone by selecting Bettina as the COO.
Charleston storms off in disbelief. Ling is stung by her father’s decision but not the least bit surprised since she’s the least among his priorities. Bingo gives her moral support and reveals how he had tracked down the engineer she’s been looking for and it’s none other than Mr. Ibe.
Ling is amazed to learn that he had reached out to his mother to help her. She gets quite emotional and hugs him, thanking him. Snoop approaches Aldrich and plays the jealousy card on him, going on about how he and Irene are pretty close.
Aldrich questions him about his relationship with her and asks for information on her, and Snoop pulls a fast one to get away. When Cindy questions her husband’s decision upon their return home, Wilson points out that Bettina deserves the position the most since she had sacrificed so much for the company.
Bettina comes over to thank her father, promising to never disappoint him. Xindy congratulates her. Annie begins to worry about how they’re going to get the shares they need now that Bettina has been elected. Sherwin points out that Charleston is the most vulnerable of the siblings at the moment.
Speaking of, Charleston drinks at a bar and Carlo shows up to taunt and mock him, declaring that he’s the most deserving of the COO position. An altercation ensues among the brothers before Charleston leaves.
Meanwhile, Caroline hangs out with Bingo in the garden and thanks him for always being there for her. They’re are lost in the moment, their eyes locked in a deep, intimate stare. The air is charged with tension as they lean in, their faces inches apart.
The world around them melts away, and all that’s left is the two of them, suspended in a moment of raw emotion. Bingo and Ling almost ki$$, the anticipation building, as they hover on the brink of a romantic revelation.Read Next Episode on Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 44
