Irene Seeks Snoop’s Help. Ling Creates Further Tension At The Warehouse; Bingo Has A Hard Time Getting Through To Her.
Albert gives officer Blaza an earful for interrogating only Olivia and leaving Charleston scot-free. The officer argues that there’s no solid evidence to prove that he was the one who poisoned Edward and Albert demands for him to do his job and find the evidence.
A moment later, Blaza tails Charleston to a warehouse in his car. As he waits for him to resurface, Charleston creeps up on him from the other side and confronts him, asking why he’s been following him.
The officer says he’s merely doing his job and he knows how criminals like him operate and Charleston declares that he doesn’t know him at all. Bingo is exasperated to learn that Ling had investigated the social media accounts of the workers instead of getting to know them personally.
Ling begins blabbering about the dubious things she found out about the guys. The workers overhear her judgment of them and they confront her. Bingo tries to make Caroline see the error of her ways, urging her to apologize to the workers and try to get along with them.
Ling refuses to apologize for being straightforward and honest. Bingo says she needs to be more humane but it seems a lost cause. Snoop goes to the restaurant to ask Irene for her phone number so they’ll be able to get in touch.
After giving him her number, Irene drives him away before . In no time. Snoop calls Irene on the phone to prank her and ask the kind of liquor she prefers. Back at the warehouse, Bingo tries to talk to the disgruntled workers and appease them.
However, Kida and the others express their displeasure over how Ling had pried into their personal lives and practically insulted them. Ling looks on casually. Later, she presents her recommendations to Aunt Cathy and she says she’ll examine it.
Later, Cathy asks Bingo about the recent incidents at the warehouse and he laments over how Ling doesn’t seem to hear anything he says. Cathy reminds him that she hired him to train her. Later that night, Dara and Bierna help Bougie to get ready for her supposed date with Bingo.
Bingo borrows Korik’s motorbike and doesn’t even notice his “date” and the others. Bougie gets hurt, saying that he probably forgot about her. Dara and Bierna try to cheer her up. Bingo meets up with Ling and bombards her with questions in an attempt to understand why she’s the way she is.
Ling states that she must complete her training in order to work at her family’s company. She can’t afford to make any mistake that’ll make her seem incompetent. After her shift, Irene excitedly goes to meet Snoop for the liquor.
Ironically, Dara and Bierna spot her sneaking up the stairs and they try to sneak up on her. Irene slips away and hides behind a box and Snoop saves her from getting caught. He trips and falls and Irene falls on top of him.
Ling goes to her mother’s house and a little girl bumps into her. When she asks if she’s okay, she tells her that she doesn’t like it there. The little girl’s mother shows up and she goes to her.
Ling asks what they’re doing and it comes as a shock to learn that her father had already sold the property long ago. Ling stalks off in a daze as the rain begins to fall, triggering the painful memory of her mother’s death.
At the mansion, Charleston walks into Ling’s room and stares at an old photo of her and her mother. Hyperventilating, Ling gets into her car and she blows air into a brown paper bag to control her breathing. She recalls how her father had promised to never sell the house.
