Irene Gets Entangled With Snoop. Bingo Discovers Ling In A Traumatic Moment. Ling Makes A Disturbing Discovery.
Bingo gives his grandma money for the bills and the groceries. In her own way, Caroline uses music to deal and recover from her recent episode. Irene gladly retrieves the liquor from where Snoop had stashed it for her and as she takes a moment to relax, she receives a phone call from her sister who tells her that she’s on her way to the airport.
Bettina urges Irene to fix herself and get her life back together. Speaking of, Caroline storms into the mansion and comforts her father for breaking his promise and selling her mother’s house. Wilson justifies his actions, saying that he did that for the sake of the family so that she’ll finally let go and move on.
Cindy adds that it’s also for her own good. However, Ling calls out her father for his betrayal and vows to always make him remember her mother. Later, Cindy recalls how she had paid off Annie (Bingo’s mother) all those years ago.
Then her and Gina’s recent attempt to track her down after discovering Bingo’s birth certificate. At present, Annie works on a dead black bird and a scar is revealed to be on her arm. She recalls coming out of Divine’s house with bloody hands and running down the street before being deliberately knocked down by a car.
Wilson is worried about Caroline and tries to contact her on the phone, and Cindy tries to calm him down and ease his worries. While Carlo is in the shower, his mother sneaks into his room and begins snooping around. As a phone call comes in from Carlo, Gina takes photos of the number.
When Carlo shows up and asks what she wants, Gina covers up her intentions. In the meantime, Bingo receives a phone call from Neco. On the phone, Gina tells someone to trace the phone number that has been contacting her son.
While Snoop joins Irene on the rooftop, Bingo shows up at the warehouse. It turns out that Kida has been caught for stealing stuff. In an interesting turn of events, Irene gets pretty drunk with Snoop so much more that she can’t even walk. Snoop resolves to carry her to his place.
A moment later, Irene slowly opens her eyes and as she takes in her surroundings, she realizes with a jolt that she’s not alone. Snoop is lying beside her, fast asleep. She looks down at herself and sees that she’s half-dressed, her clothes disheveled from the night before.
Irene’s heart starts racing as panic sets in. She quickly scans the room, trying to piece together what happened. But her memories of the previous night are hazy, and she’s left with more questions than answers.
Not wanting to waste any more time, Irene swiftly gathers her things, turns to Snoop and whispers, “Nothing happened between us. Nothing happened.” She repeats the phrase to herself, as if trying to convince herself more than anyone else. With that, she quietly slips out of the room, leaving Snoop to sleep.
Kida pleads with Snoop to talk with Aunt Cathy on her behalf and Bingo reminds her that stealing is grounds for termination. The security guard escorts her outside and everyone else leaves after the warehouse is closed and locked up.
Ling who still happens to be inside is triggered again and she relives her trauma. When Bingo hears her scream, he breaks into the warehouse and manages to calm her down by singing a song his mother used to sing to him. He assures her that she’ll be alright but needs to get help.
When Gina questions her son about the number that has been calling him, he gets upset to realize that she’s been going through his things. Bingo asks Aunt Cathy about what had happened to Ling and she tells him that it’s not her story to tell, hinting that she had asked him to train Ling to feel because of the incident in question.
Speaking of, Ling goes to see her therapist to talk to her about her trauma, suspecting that her mother hadn’t committed sùiçide and someone might have really k!lled her.
Doc Kat then urges her to face her situation and find definite answers and only then can she move on. On her way out, a wounded black bird drops at Ling’s feet and her bodyguard picks it up to go and get help.
Ling finds a black feather on the floor and recalls seeing the very same thing at the scene of Edward’s death. She goes back to where Edward had died and sure enough, she finds the same black feather lodged in some flowers nearby. Read Next Episode on Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 28
