Charleston Thirsts For Revenge. Ling Makes A Tragic & Disturbing Discovery. Bettina Is Left In A Daze.

Caroline tries to tell Bettina the hard truth, only to be interrupted by a ruckus from within the office. They head inside to find an unexpected surprise Edward had prepared for his fiancee. Bettina thanks him for the gesture as Ling looks on silently.

Gina whines to Wilson over how he had made a fool out of her by leaving her in the dark about the identity of the GLC bank hack. When Wilson argues that he couldn’t possibly send his own son to prison, Gina states that the thought never crossed her mind because she cares about their family.

She says she wants them to be a family and Wilson reminds her that he’s never abandoned her. In the meantime, Caroline broods by herself, reluctant to ruin her sister’s happiness with mere speculation. Bingo joins her and assures her that the truth will come out eventually.

Ling insists on paying him for his efforts. Bettina confesses to Edward that she had followed him yesterday and Edward claims that the property he saw was given to him by his grandparents. Supposedly, he plans to renovate the place because that’s where they’ll be starting their family.

After making good on her promise to compensate Bingo, she gives him some pocketbooks as a gift for his grandma. Later, Ling goes to see her father in his office. She speaks on her brother’s behalf and pleads with him to talk things out with him.

Carlo finds the connection between Edward and Jaime and when Charleston learns of how he had set him up, he curses at him. Carlo wants them to inform their father but Charleston against it because he’ll be the one to handle the matter.

Aunt Cathy gives Caroline the day off tomorrow so she’ll be able to attend her sister’s wedding. Speaking of, Bettina has a video call with Edward. Once it’s over, a faceless person comes to see Edward at his place and he declares that the debt of his family has been repaid.

Apparently, this unidentified person is the actual mastermind of the GLC hacking. With the help of a mute vendor who’s able to read lips, Snoop realizes that in the video, Edward and Jaime are talking about how they set up Charleston.

Snoop quickly notifies Bingo of the development and they get in touch with Caroline to inform her. Caroline tries in vain to reach Bettina on the phone. She calls Charleston and learns that he already knows the truth. Ling tries to talk him out of going to confront Edward.

Irene goes to give Bettina a gift in her room, only to find the place trashed and deserted. While Edward makes some arrangements at the wedding venue, Bettina cries her eyes out somewhere in her car. She then goes to a bar to drown her sorrows, whatever the hell that is.

Determined to stop her brother from doing any drastic, Caroline heads to the venue where she regroups with Bingo. They go in search of Edward and they find him dead on the floor, causing a numb reaction from Ling.

Carlo asks Charleston if “it’s done” and he replies in the positive. They then make a toast. Meanwhile, Bettina arrives home forlorn and heads to her room. Cindy comes over to inform her about Edward’s death and she breaks down crying. Read Next Episode on Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 20
