Wilson tells Ling to stay home with her sisters while she and Cindy go to check up on the Liaos. Apparently, Albert had had a heart attack after learning of the tragic incident. Ling offers to watch over Bettina and Cindy expresses her disapproval, saying that she’s resting and shouldn’t be disturbed.
Stephen arrives at the precinct to ask for an update on Edward’s case. The police speculate that according to the initial investigation, Edward had sustained scratch marks which could be defensive wounds prior to the fall that k!lled him. Ling struggles to deal with the traumatizing experience of finding Edward’s body.
Grandma Nene calls her up to check up on her. The next day, Wilson desperately tries in vain to contact Charleston on the phone. He leaves him a voicemail, telling him to come back home. Without warning, Caroline informs him of how Edward had masterminded the hacking.
Charleston was pretty upset when he found out and she worries that he could have confronted him. Charleston hangs out with Carlo having target practice on birds in an open field. Gina joins them in grand style and outshines both boys.
In the meantime, Snoop has a talk with Bingo about Edward’s murdër and they begin to wonder what had really happened to him. A leaked video of the discovery of Edward’s body begins to go viral and Cindy gets worked up over it. Wilson tries to calm her down.
With Charleston out of earshot, Gina expresses her disapproval over how her son has been hanging out with his half-brother. Carlo says he doesn’t understand why she should be concerned and Gina points out that he should have been checking up on Bettina to prove to his father that he cares about the family.
Speaking of, Irene checks up on Bettina and tries to cheer her up in her own way. While Ling desperately tries to contact her brother, Bingo calls her on the phone to check up on her. He offers his help and quite grateful, Ling gives him possible locations where Charleston could be.
Irene decides to go out and get some booze and Ling reminds her that their father had told them not to leave the house for their security. Irene couldn’t care and would do whatever the hell she wants. She curses at Ling when she informs the guards about their father’s orders.
Charleston finally returns Caroline’s calls and he decides to hurry home upon learning of how Bettina has been implicated in Edward’s death. Much to the dismay of her parents, Bettina insists on going to Edward’s wake to see him one last time. When they arrive there, Marrietta doesn’t receive them warmly.
To complicate matters, the police suddenly arrive to take Bettina in for questioning since she’s a person of interest in the murder. During the drive to the precinct, Bettina recalls a phone call she had received from her former best friend.
Flashback: Olivia tells Bettina about how Edward has been lying to her all along, and the fact that he’s planned the GLC hacking for quite a while now. Bettina goes to confront Edward about this and the guy shamelessly denies it. However, Bettina won’t be taken for a fool no more as she slaps Edward and declares that the wedding is off.
Following Edward’s death, another scene shows Bettina telling her mother about everything, adding that she wasn’t the one who k!lled Edward. At present, Bettina tells her father about everything, assuring him that she had nothing to do with Edward’s death.
Cindy states that they need a witness to testify and fake an alibi for Bettina. Once Charleston arrives home, Ling asks him about Edward’s murder. Charleston says he has nothing to do with it and neither does Bettina. Ling apologizes.
Wilson and Cindy return home with Bettina. Cindy takes Bettina to her room to rest while Wilson has a talk with the rest of his children. Meanwhile, Bingo recalls how he had seen Bettina in the area where Edward was found dead.
