“Miranda confessed to kidnapping Grace and took all the blame to protect Anna, but despite her confession, Sarah refused to leave Anna off the hook.”
Miranda made a video confessing that she kidnapped Grace because Karamay was about to be cancelled, and it was the initial story of Grace that saved their program. But when she found Grace, she got scared that their ratings might drop again, so she decided to keep Grace.
She added that another reason she k!dnapped Grace was because she found out about the child’s real situation at home, as Sarah had been abusing her, hence she had to keep the child. She said she had no regrets and would continue keeping the child safe.
She declared Anna innocent and apologized to her because her life was ruined by her. She took all the blame upon herself as she broke down, and Julius quickly held her, seeing that her condition seemed to have worsened. Sarah saw Anna and started screaming that Anna was there, but Anna had to hold her by the mouth to stop her.
She accused Sarah of making her believe she had given up on Grace so that she could have her, but instead, Sarah ended up involving too many people. Sarah retorted that she lost everything because of her, that she lost Grace and Chito, so if her life was miserable, she would ruin Anna’s life too.
Anna couldn’t believe her accusation and told her she used to feel sorry for her because she thought Sarah just made some wrong decisions and could still change. But after everything Sarah had done, she thought she was hopeless. She said Sarah was selfish, which was why her child turned her back on her.
Sarah slapped her, and Anna returned the favor by slapping her twice. She called Sarah a worthless mother, and Sarah vowed not to let Anna get away with this. Their argument grew heated, and when Anna tried to leave after hearing the cops’ voices,
Sarah held on to her, trying to stop her, but Anna managed to escape from her grip. Sarah started screaming again that Anna was there. While alone, Anna broke down as she recalled the earlier event where Erin confessed that it was Helena’s fault that Antonio died.
Helena apologized to Erin for making her hide her secret. Though hurt, Erin assured her that she loved her and loved Anna as well, which was why she would forever be guilty for what happened to Anna. Helena was afraid of what Anna would do, fearing they might lose her.
She admitted that she did blame Anna for what happened to them because there was a part of her that used to wonder what would have happened if Anna hadn’t been with them. Erin asked if it was because Anna was adopted and reminded Helena that it wasn’t Anna’s fault.
Helena admitted that she loved Anna. Oscar called Helena to inquire about Anna and informed her about Sarah seeing Anna. Although Anna managed to escape, the police were looking for her. Helena requested that Oscar keep her updated about Anna if he heard anything.
After hanging up, Erin showed her Miranda’s video, where Miranda took the blame for Anna’s crimes. Meanwhile, Jessica was also in disbelief after watching Miranda’s video and went to find her, as she knew where Miranda could be. But she was surprised when she saw the house empty upon arrival.
Helena tried to talk to Princess, but she was still mad at her. She told Helena that she had already talked to a lawyer, and Helena was shocked to learn that her daughter wanted her to go to jail. Princess accused her of k!lling Antonio, and Helena tearfully told her to take care of Erin, believing she would soon be arrested.
Princess assured her that though the lawyer would open the case, since there would be no witnesses and Erin would not say anything, she was safe. Helena said what she had been going through since Antonio’s death was worse than going to jail, as her conscience had been tormenting her.
She apologized to Princess. Anna arrived home but was met by a furious Jessica, who accused her of ruining everything for Miranda. She blamed Anna for always being the one taking, from Julius, Miranda, and even her family.
Anna countered that she would make sure to reciprocate their help. She said she knew how to repay debts of gratitude and started calling out for Grace, but Jessica furiously told her they were not there.
At the hospital, Grace came to Miranda’s room to check whether she was fine, and Miranda handed her the two bracelets she had, telling her to keep them while she recovered and to tell Anna that she had the same bracelet as hers when she was no longer around.
Grace wondered where she was going, but Miranda assured her she wasn’t going anywhere, just in case, and the child agreed to do as told. Meanwhile, Anna finally got to Julius, who informed her that they were at the hospital and sent her the location.
She heard the police siren and asked Jessica if she had called them, but Jessica denied it. However, she reminded her that the police were looking for her, so it was possible they were checking all properties connected to Miranda. They managed to leave before the police could see them.
They arrived at the hospital, and Miranda told them she was fine. Anna questioned why she took all the blame, and Miranda explained that she did it to give Grace the kind of life she deserved. But Anna asked if that was her only reason.
Miranda wondered why Anna was doubting her, and Anna replied that she didn’t know whom to trust anymore. Miranda told her she could trust her. Anna broke down as she indirectly shared with Grace how her family had chosen to hurt her to protect themselves.
Grace thought someone had picked a fight with her mother and wanted to know so she could get back at them, but Anna assured her it was fine and made her promise to always tell her the truth and never lie to her. The child looked guilty as they hugged.
Ashley was being congratulated for replacing Miranda at NTV after the kidnapping scandal, and Sarah told her she should be thanking her because she only got to destroy Miranda’s image since she told her everything.
Ashley smiled sheepishly and agreed with Sarah but told her to keep it low, not wanting anyone to overhear what Sarah was saying. She asked Sarah why she was there. Sarah told her she needed her help, that it couldn’t end with only Miranda taking the blame.
She said Anna couldn’t get away with this and deserved to go to jail, so she asked Ashley to think of anything they could use against her. Ashley told her she knew about a private investigator Miranda had hired to do a background check on Anna and that she had found some documents in the investigator’s office.
She said she could check them and see if there was anything they could use against Anna, but Sarah wanted to come with her. Jessica was devastated after learning that her mother had cancer. Miranda apologized for not telling her because she didn’t want Jessica to find out this way.
Jessica wondered why she hadn’t told her, saying she could have helped her, but Miranda said she didn’t want to burden her. Jokingly, she added that it’s not like she was going to die and is going to get treatment. Jessica asked when, as she had been spending all her time with Anna.
Jessica didn’t like how Miranda was sacrificing everything for Anna, even risking her own health, but Miranda explained that she was a mother who had made a huge mistake and that this wouldn’t have happened to Anna had she not given her away. She emotionally pleaded with Jessica to help Anna and wanted the two of them to patch things up before she was gone.
