“Princess alerted the police about Anna, but Erin later revealed the shocking truth that Helena, not Anna, was responsible for Antonio’s death”.
Ashley asked Sarah if she wanted a good lawyer, to which she agreed. Sarah said she needed one to clear her of all the charges against her. Ashley promised to get her one since she had many connections, but her help came with a condition. She asked Sarah what she would give in return, and knowing Ashley wanted to take Miranda down, Sarah promised to help her.
She also revealed that Miranda was hiding Grace and Anna, even giving her the location of the rest house where she could find them. Oscar decided to leave, and when Anna asked if he wasn’t taking Grace with him, he explained that if Grace didn’t want to leave, he wouldn’t force her, as it might traumatize her even more.
However, he warned Anna that just because Grace wanted to stay with her didn’t mean he would allow it. He explained that Grace was still a minor and didn’t fully understand what was right or wrong, but Anna, being an adult, would face the consequences. Anna accepted her mistakes and said she was ready to face the consequences but wanted to ensure Grace was safe.
All she ever wanted was to give Grace a good life. Though Oscar wanted to help, he couldn’t agree with what Anna wanted. He informed her that someone would eventually come to get her since Sarah had already informed them of her whereabouts. Anna was shocked and told him that Sarah was the one who had left Grace in her care.
Oscar warned her not to trust Sarah, saying he didn’t know any mother who wouldn’t fight for her child like a lion. Meanwhile, Sarah was discharged from the hospital but didn’t look happy, believing she would go to jail. However, her lawyer told her she was going home directly since they had posted bail because the evidence against her wasn’t strong.
She also told her that Chito had already been transferred to jail. Anna began packing her things to leave, knowing the police would arrive any moment. Julius came to take her, and Erin, seeing the bloodstain on his shirt, remembered what happened the day her father died.
She saw Helena accidentally push Antonio, causing him to hit his head on the boat before falling into the sea. Later, Erin tearfully asked Helena why she fought with Antonio and why there was blood on his head. Helena told her nothing like that had happened and warned her not to let anyone hear her say such things.
The child still insisted on what she saw, but Helena denied it and pleaded with Erin not to tell anyone, especially the police. She asked Erin if she wanted her to go to jail, to which Erin shook her head no. She came out of her flashback, looking at Helena in disbelief.
Anna told Miranda she was leaving since everyone knew her whereabouts, including the police. Miranda informed her that she had already prepared another place for her to stay, but Anna refused, not wanting to get Miranda further involved in her troubles.
Miranda insisted, saying she wanted to keep her promise to Anna by clearing her name. She asked Anna to give her a chance to make things right. Grace told Anna to accept Miranda’s help, and Miranda was ready to take them away immediately.
Anna agreed but told Miranda that if she and Grace changed their minds, she hoped Miranda would understand. While they were talking, they didn’t notice Ashley spying on them.
Ashley took a photo of them and smirked. Oscar was being reprimanded by his superior for not having any updates regarding Anna and Grace when Sarah rushed in to show them the picture Ashley had taken.
She informed them that Anna had her daughter and that Miranda was her accomplice. Oscar said he would have to verify the picture, but Ramon asked if he thought Sarah was capable of altering a photo and told him to use his brain. “I’ll request a search warrant immediately, and I want it done now!” his superior said firmly.
Jessica stormed into Julius’s office, demanding to know where Miranda was, as she wasn’t in her rest house or answering her calls. Julius said he didn’t know her whereabouts, but Jessica refused to believe him. She told him about the search warrant for Miranda and Anna, as they had already found evidence that they had Grace.
Meanwhile, posters of Anna and Miranda were being spread, labelling them as wanted by the police. Ramon interrogated Anna’s family about her, but they all denied involvement. As he kept pressing them, a detective came in and told him they would take over the case since it was now a k!dnapping case.
Ramon had no choice but to give in, as it was beyond his authority. Miranda called Jessica, who couldn’t believe her mother was still with Anna. She was in disbelief that her mom was choosing Anna over everything and ruining her career for her.
Miranda explained that she had once chosen her career over Anna but wouldn’t make that mistake again, as she wanted to be with Anna now, especially because she didn’t have much time left. Jessica wanted to know what she meant, but Miranda only told her how much she loved her before hanging up. Jessica broke down crying bitterly.
Things worsened for Miranda as she was all over the news for Grace’s kidnapping. The scandal affected her company and also ruined Jessica’s career, as no one wanted to hire her as their lawyer due to her mother’s involvement in the case. Princess blamed Anna for their family’s misfortune, but Erin stepped in to defend her.
Princess didn’t like Erin’s defence and accused Anna of brainwashing her. Erin asked how long Princess would keep hating Anna and whether she had ever considered hearing Anna’s side of the story. She pointed out that Princess had always been jealous of Anna because she believed their father, Antonio, loved Anna more.
Princess wanted Erin to side with her and began badmouthing Anna again, asking who the real problem was. Erin’s accusations angered Princess, and she attacked her, causing Helena to get injured while trying to separate them.
Anna found some old photos of Miranda when she was pregnant and mentioned she didn’t know she and Jessica were the same age. Miranda explained that the baby in the photo wasn’t Jessica, and Anna was surprised to learn Miranda had another child.
Miranda tearfully revealed that she had gotten pregnant at the start of her career, but the father wanted nothing to do with her since he was already married. She was forced to give the baby up for adoption because life was difficult back then, and she wanted the child to have a good life.
Shaking, she held onto Anna and cried, saying she hoped her child could forgive her. She broke down, repeatedly apologizing to Anna. Anna, unsure how to console her, received a call from Princess, who informed her that Helena had been admitted to the hospital. After the call, Princess tipped off the police so Anna could be arrested.
Helena saw Princess talking to Oscar and wanted to know why he had come. She asked if Princess had called Anna. Meanwhile, Miranda scolded Julius for letting Anna leave alone, but he explained that Anna insisted on going because she was worried about Helena.
He then received a call from Oscar, who warned him that someone had tipped them off about Anna’s location. Anna arrived at the hospital and told Helena that Princess had called to say something bad had happened to her. She accused Princess of betraying her and helping Sarah.
Princess retorted that she was tired of running away and told Anna to take responsibility for her actions instead of dragging everyone into her mess. Helena asked Anna to leave, but Princess accused her of always siding with Anna. She said Helena should have thrown Anna out after Antonio died.
Helena slapped her for her harsh words.
Erin, unable to bear Princess’s accusations, told her that Antonio’s death wasn’t Anna’s fault. Helena didn’t want Erin to continue, so she asked Anna to leave, but Anna wanted to hear what Erin had to say.
Erin confessed that Antonio’s death wasn’t Anna’s fault but Helena’s. She explained that she saw Helena accidentally push Antonio, who was already injured when he saved Anna. Anna asked why she was only revealing the truth now, and Erin apologized, saying she had been confused at the time.
Helena had told her not to say anything, so she tried to forget about it. But now, everything was clear. Anna, in disbelief, looked at Helena, who tried to explain that it was an accident. Anna left the room, refusing to hear any more, while Helena broke down in tears.
