Saving Grace Episode 21

“Sarah plots with Chito to spy on Miranda, while Miranda clashes with Helena over Anna’s safety and faces Jessica’s anger for hiding Anna.”

Chito was praising Sarah for her act on the livestream. He asked her to hand over the money she received and reminded her that he couldn’t work since he was a wanted man. Seeing her reluctance, he pressed her further. She eventually agreed to give it to him.

He then asked for updates about Grace, and Sarah shared her thoughts about when Miranda’s indifference toward her began. She said that when Anna disappeared, Miranda also went missing for a few days, claiming even her daughter was looking for her. Sarah wondered if Miranda was hiding Anna.

The next day, Sarah came to Miranda wanting to talk, but Miranda told her she was on her way to something important and would appreciate it if she called first or booked an appointment. Sarah apologized for her interview with Ashley and pinned all the blame on her.

Miranda told her she could accept the apology but needed to learn to trust her again. Sarah promised to do anything Miranda wanted. Miranda then said they would do another interview and talk about what happened recently.

Sarah reluctantly agreed and was ready to do it immediately, but Miranda said she would have someone contact her since she was off to something important. She returned to her rest house and was met by Anna, who was apologizing for dragging her into her mess.

Miranda hugged her, saying she shouldn’t have had to go through all this. Anna was taken aback by Miranda’s reaction but hugged her back—only to pull away after seeing Helena. Helena started dragging Anna, insisting that they leave, but Anna resisted and told Helena that Miranda helped them escape from Palawan.

Helena angrily reminded Anna that she had warned her not to trust Miranda. Miranda retorted that there was no reason for Anna not to trust her. Helena furiously said this wasn’t Miranda’s TV show and that she wasn’t as easily fooled as her audience.

She accused Miranda of being the reason Anna was in this mess. Miranda admitted her fault but said she was trying to make things right now, then fired back by asking Helena if she had ever tried to correct her own mistakes.

Helena tried to forcibly take Anna with her, but Anna refused to go and chose to stay with Miranda, saying she didn’t want to drag her family into her problems anymore. Meanwhile, Chito asked Sarah if Miranda believed her apology, and she said no, adding that Miranda was even avoiding her.

Chito wanted to know what her next move was and how she planned to prove her suspicions right. Sarah said she didn’t have a car, so she couldn’t follow Miranda. Chito called her foolish, reminding her that there were many ways to follow Miranda even without a car. Later, Helena pulled Miranda aside, demanding to know what she was planning.

Miranda told her she was trying to clear Anna’s name. Helena questioned if that was her only reason. Miranda explained that it was Anna’s choice not to let her family know her whereabouts because she didn’t want to worry them, but Helena didn’t believe that was enough reason for Miranda to keep Anna hidden.

Helena told her that Anna was different and questioned whether Miranda thought Anna would love her the same way she loved her family after only a few days together. Displeased by the direction of the conversation, Miranda tried to walk away, but Helena grabbed her arm, refusing to let her go.

Miranda said Helena didn’t love Anna the way Anna loved her because if she did, Anna wouldn’t have ended up like this. Anna didn’t trust anyone—not even herself—and was filled with fear and resentment, all because of Helena and what happened to Antonio.

The two argued, with Helena insisting she loved Anna, but Miranda disagreed, saying that if that were true, Anna wouldn’t be in this situation, especially blaming herself for Antonio’s death. Jessica came to look for Miranda but was surprised when no one knew her whereabouts.

Taking advantage of the situation, she secretly placed a tracker in Julius’s bag. Julius caught her and asked what she was doing, and she made an excuse about wanting to invite him for dinner. He declined, saying maybe next time since he had a meeting later.

Meanwhile, Anna, desperate to leave the country, met with a man to forge a birth certificate and passport for Grace. Julius followed her, worried she might put herself in danger—unaware that Jessica was also following him and overheard everything that happened during the meeting.

Later, Helena visited Anna at Miranda’s. While having breakfast, Miranda and Helena exchanged sarcastic remarks. Jessica arrived and was shocked to see Miranda with Anna, accusing her of disappearing to protect Anna.

Miranda explained that she had tried to tell her everything, but Jessica didn’t believe her, thinking Miranda didn’t trust her to understand. Julius tried to intervene, but Jessica refused to listen. Anna couldn’t stand it anymore and told Jessica not to blame them but her, as she was the one who started all this mess.

“Damn right, I’m blaming you! You put my mom in danger. You won’t get away with this,” Jessica threatened.

Miranda followed her outside to explain, but Jessica wasn’t ready to listen and wanted to call the police. Miranda stopped her, shocked as Jessica reminded her of priding herself on being an upright and fearless journalist, yet now she was not only covering up for a criminal but also harbouring one.

Miranda could only apologize as she explained to Jessica why Anna did what she did, though Jessica still couldn’t justify Miranda’s actions. Miranda admitted she made Anna a suspect and put her in this situation because she believed Chito and Sarah.

Before things got worse, she wanted to clear Anna’s name, saying she couldn’t let her mistake be the reason an innocent person suffered. Jessica felt hurt that Miranda hadn’t trusted her enough to tell her all this, saying no one understood her better than she did.

Miranda tearfully apologized and begged Jessica not to tell anyone. Meanwhile, Helena tried to convince Anna to come home with her, saying she didn’t like her staying with Miranda. Anna assured her that she was only living there temporarily since she still planned to leave for Hong Kong.

When Helena spoke ill of Miranda, Anna asked if something had happened between them. Helena reminded her that she and Miranda once auditioned together, but Anna sensed there was more to the story. Helena, however, wasn’t ready to talk about the past.

Later, Julius and Anna discussed Jessica’s earlier behavior. Julius promised to talk to her, but Anna didn’t think it was necessary, believing Miranda had already convinced her. Anna then expressed how desperate she was to get the documents, as she wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Julius scolded her for risking herself earlier by meeting the man alone for fake documents, knowing how dangerous it was. While they were talking, Grace woke up, asking Julius to stay with her and Anna.

Not wanting to make things awkward, he promised to come back again and stroked her hair to help her fall asleep. Jessica, watching from afar, furiously observed the three of them—Julius, Anna, and Grace—looking like a family.
