Caroline Returns Home. Bingo Uncovers The Mastermind Behind The Kidnapping. Irene Ends Up In Mortal Danger.
Irene reluctantly heads inside the abandoned building with Felix and the guy slips away after receiving a phone call and Irene catches up with him. Bettina is incredulous when Edward implicates Charleston in the hack at GLC, stating that it was definitely an inside job and he had motive.
Ling rendezvouses with Bingo and introduces him Stephen and together, they meet up with Irene’s best friend to ask about what Irene has been up to. Kara goes on about how Irene had maxed out her credit card and secretly bought a place to open up her own bar.
Exasperated, Ling and Bingo urge her to get to the point and she shows them a video and takes them to the place. Ling can’t help but to feel sorry for her sister because she had to hide her dream from everyone. Felix continues stalling and calls his father on the phone to update him and Balong says he’s on his way over.
The owner of the property finds Ling and the others there and she tells them about how Irene had taken a 10 year lease on the property. She laments that she’s been losing money because Irene has not been able to make any progress in building the bar.
When asked about how Irene had been able to make the down payment for the property, Kara recounts how she had gotten herself a loan shark called Felix. Since Irene doesn’t have her phone with her, Ling sends a photo of Felix on her social media account, identifying him as her k!dnapper.
Gina whines to Wilson about how they need to refund the 2 billion they lost to their clients and he retorts, saying that she should go right ahead and do so because he has more important things to handle. Bingo goes to see Snoop to update him on what’s been going on.
Suspecting that Balong could be the mastermind of the kidnapping, he decides to go and pay him another visit. In the meantime, Ling wonders why Bingo had left so suddenly and Stephen begins to second-guess his trustworthiness because he seems to know a lot.
Pat calls Ling on the phone but she doesn’t pick up. Bingo and Snoop visit Balong and try to hold him by offering to do the plumbing work immediately. The old man however insists that he has somewhere to go. After a phone call, he asks them to stay back if they want.
Irene browses her social media account on Felix’s phone and eventually, she sees the message Ling had sent her. Balong’s other son tells him about how their plans have been derailed because of the interference of his guests. Balong proceeds to confront the boys with a fillet kn!fe.
Bingo bluntly asks why he had Caroline k!dnapped and he tries to get through to him when he laments over what the Tius did to him. Balong serves them a stern warning and insinuates that the Tius had something to do with Bingo’s mother leaving him.
Caroline receives a couple of texts from Pat asking to meet up with her because she has information on what happened to her mother and her kidnapping. While Wilson and Cindy anxiously wait to hear from their children, Stephen returns to the house to tell them about Ling’s new friend.
Speaking of, Ling goes to see Grandma Nene to ask of Bingo’s whereabouts and she has an unfriendly encounter with Dara and Bougie. Ling apologizes to them for telling them off before. She then runs into Bingo and Snoop on her way out.
Irene continues to put on an act with Felix and she doesn’t give away what she just found. Ling discovers that her sister had been online recently and seen the message she sent her. With Snoop’s help, they’re able to pinpoint the location where she logged in.
Before heading out to the place, Ling updates her father who in turn reaches out to his police contact. Irene bluntly confronts Felix over how he’s been playing her for a fool and even kidnapped her sister.
As she tries to leave, he fires off a warning shot and holds her at güñpoint. Balong shows up and stalks over. Irene asks what they want and he declares that he’ll make sure her death will be a memorable one, just like what her parents did to his wife. Read Next Episode on Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 12
