Ling & Bingo Track Down Irene. Balong’s Evil Schemes Are Frustrated. Bingo & Snoop Receive An Exclusive Dinner Invitation
The episode begins with Carlo getting ready to leave for the office. His mother urges him to stay home, recounting the kidnapping involving his siblings. Carlo speculates that the incident could be related to the GLC bank hack.
In the meantime, Irene tries in vain to reason with Felix. She pleads desperately with Balong but that also falls on deaf ears. Balong vents out his anger and resentment on her and drives her to the corner of the building.
Ling arrives outside with Bingo and upon spotting her sister’s car parked outside, she hurries inside with him. While Wilson and Cindy are on their way with the police, Irene struggles to hold on to keep herself from falling through the opening to the partially finished floors below.
Ling tries to go to her aid but Bingo holds her back when Felix begins shooting indiscriminately. Eventually, Balong and his son are compelled to make a run for it at the sound of police sirens. Ling hurries to her sister but Irene loses her grip and falls.
Fortunately, Snoop who’s on the floor below catches her just in time. With the help of an IT expert, Charleston manages to figure out the IP address of the GLC bank hacker. Before he can go about tracking it down, he receives a phone call from Bettina who tells him that he needs to come home because something happened to Irene.
While waiting for Caroline to show, Pat spots Olai, Balong’s other son spying on her and she makes a run for it. Olai pursues her but she gets away in a taxi. Meanwhile, Ling hurries to the lower floor with Bingo to check up on her sister.
She finds Irene unconscious and a little wounded and the sight of the blood brings back memories of her mother’s death. Bingo tries to calm her down as she hyperventilates. The police arrive on the scene and Felix ends up getting caught.
Wilson and Cindy arrive a moment later after Irene has been taken into the ambulance and stabilized. Cindy checks on her while Wilson seeks out Caroline, apologizes to her and asks her to come home with him. The police ask Bingo and Snoop to come to headquarters to give their statement on the case.
Bingo implicates Balong as the mastermind of the kidnapping. Speaking of, Balong calls Olai telling him that they need to lie low for a while before they resume his plans for revenge. Bingo has a talk with Grandma Nene about his conflicted feelings for his mother who had abandoned him.
Bingo tidies up his room with Monching’s help. He takes down the investigation board as he recalls some moments with Ling. Speaking of, Ling visits Irene to apologize for falsely accusing her and she retorts with a cheeky remark.
After Irene recovers, Wilson has a meeting with all of his children to celebrate their safety. Later, Ling tells her father about the debt she needs to repay Bingo. In no time, she hits the road. While Bingo goes about his business, he’s almost knocked down by a black car.
He recognizes the car from the bus accident which had made him lose his chance to apply at GLC. When Caroline steps out of the car, he confronts her and she admits to driving the car back then.
Bingo blames her for his missed opportunity and Ling argues that she had been trying to avoid a collision with the bus. She decides to compensate him by refunding him the money he used for treatment. Also, she’ll tell her father about it so he would be given another chance.
Bingo asks for the money she already owes him and Caroline reveals that her father is the one who’ll be paying, and he’s invited him for dinner at the mansion. Bingo looks on in surprise. Ling finds her father staring at a photo of herself and her mother and she recalls a memory with her.
Bingo whines to Snoop over how Ling had been unsympathetic to his situation. Just then, Ling texts Bingo asking him to bring Snoop along to the dinner. Snoop gets overly excited. Ling is confused when Bingo replies with just “k”.
She texts back “OKAY” all in caps and Snoop begins to wonder whether she’s upset. Bingo speculates that she might be in her crazy mood – they need to attend the dinner because he really needs to meet Mr. Tiu. Read Next Episode on Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 13
