Saving Grace Episode 15

“Anna risks everything to protect Grace, defying Helena’s warnings and choosing her bond with the child over family ties.”

Oscar came to Miranda and informed her about the new information they had on Anna. He told her Anna was connected to the same orphanage Grace came from, as she was also from there. He explained that Anna had been adopted when she was 4.  Miranda was surprised to hear this and asked about Anna’s age, to which Oscar replied, 28.

Miranda then called Carmen, telling her she needed an investigator. Charlie was still in disbelief that Anna could involve herself in a kidnapping, given her nature. Anna arrived, and he excused himself, leaving her with Helena. Anna explained to Helena why she badly needed the money.

Helena wanted to know what would happen to the child and if Anna planned on faking the child’s documents. Anna nodded, admitting she needed to do that so they could leave right away, but she promised not to bother the family anymore. Helena told her that would not happen—Anna would have to return the child.

Helena told Anna what she did was wrong, but said she wouldn’t interfere or report her. Instead, she gave her a week to say goodbye to Grace to help prepare her for the separation, after which she must return the child to her mother. Grace tried cheering Anna up, telling her to forget her problems for now.

Anna promised she would. On their way back, Grace told Anna she had forgotten her bag. Anna told her to wait while she went to get it. As Grace waited, Chito, who was walking around, spotted her. He tried to take her away, but Anna arrived just in time and struck him unconscious. She then grabbed Grace, and they ran off.

When Anna arrived home, Princess immediately accused her. Anna told her they were leaving, but Helena warned her not to act rashly. Princess said it would be better if they left and asked who would clean up her mess. Having had enough of Princess’s constant blame, Anna declared they were leaving for good, as that was what Princess wanted.

She demanded to know what Princess really wanted her to do, as she was tired of the treatment she was getting. She turned to leave, but Erin begged her not to, saying they were family. Princess snapped that Anna didn’t see them as family, and Anna angrily admitted she wasn’t, revealing that she was adopted.

Princess grew even angrier and attacked her, claiming all their problems were because of someone who wasn’t even part of the family. Grace stood by Anna, saying she had a family in her. Meanwhile, Sarah was outside the inn making a scene, now convinced her daughter was with Anna.

Chito insisted he saw Grace at the shore and that she was with Anna, but Anna denied it, saying he was drunk, which was why he always mistook other kids for Grace. He tried to hit her, but Miranda stopped him. Anna accused Miranda of putting her on air and making her look like a criminal, but Miranda defended herself, saying she was only doing so because a child’s life was at stake.

Anna told her she should have thought of that before siding with Sarah and Chito. Helena warned Miranda that she would regret what she had done to Anna. Later, while alone, Helena advised Anna on how she could return Grace without being noticed. She said she had seen how close they were and was sure Grace wouldn’t turn her in, but Anna refused, insisting they would just leave.

Helena reminded her that Grace wasn’t her child, but Anna countered by reminding her she wasn’t related to them either. Helena retorted that it was different—she didn’t kidnap Anna. Anna said if Helena insisted on returning Grace, then they would just leave.

Helena, furious that Anna was choosing a stranger over her own family, reminded her of everything she had done for her and called her ungrateful. Their argument escalated, as Anna refused to give up on Grace. Helena warned her that if she walked out that door, she must never return.

“Don’t ever come back. You’ll never return here again, not ever! Remember that!” Helena warned.

“I just want to say thank you so much for everything,” Anna replied tearfully and left.

Meanwhile, Sarah and Chito argued over his drinking, which made it hard for anyone to believe he had really seen Grace. Chito insisted he wasn’t lying—that he had truly seen her. He said Anna was playing them for fools, while Sarah worried they needed to get Grace back soon, as even Miranda seemed to be backing away.

Chito suggested they use Miranda before she completely turned her back on them. Elsewhere, Anna gave Grace her bracelet, telling her that whenever she saw it, she should remember that Anna chose her. She assured her that she would take care of her and love her.

At the same time, Miranda was on the phone with Carmen, who was thrilled about the high ratings Grace’s case was bringing. She excitedly told Miranda that ratings would skyrocket even more when Anna was caught. During this conversation, Chito entered Miranda’s room and stole her jewellery. When she tried to stop him, he pushed her and escaped.
