“Julius confronts Anna about hiding a child he believes is Grace, while Helena’s suspicions force Anna to admit the shocking truth”
The episode starts with Miranda calling Julius to ask about the progress of his investigation on Anna. He tells her that Anna has a child with her. Miranda asked if it was Grace, but Julius said it was Anna’s child, though she has refused to let him see the kid. He assured Miranda not to worry and promised he would get to the bottom of it.
Helena was surprised to see how well Grace could fold clothes. The child proudly told her the things she was good at — cooking, sweeping, doing laundry, and even selling. “Selling?” Helena asked, but Anna quickly covered it up and explained that Grace was good at house chores because she had taught her to help, since it was only the two of them.
Meanwhile, Miranda visited Sarah to offer her help once again. She admitted that she had judged Sarah based on the video she had seen. From the short time she had known her, she realized Sarah was not the kind of person people were saying she was. Sarah expressed her gratitude to Miranda for trusting her.
While they were talking, Sarah received a call from Oscar, who informed her that they had gotten a tip from an anonymous source claiming someone had seen Grace in Batangas. Helena began to notice strange things about Grace that made her suspicious.
She remembered when she had once visited Anna but couldn’t find her, and when she asked, she was told Anna was living alone. She asked Grace if she wanted to go back to school, and the child excitedly said yes. Helena then told her to bring her birth certificate so she could enroll her.
Grace nervously shook her head, indicating she didn’t have one. Princess arrived home with Charlie and was immediately upset when she saw Grace. Helena had to remind her that she had already told her about Anna and Grace staying with them.
Seeing the tension, Charlie suggested they should take a picture of their new family member and began snapping photos. Anna saw what was happening and deleted the pictures from Charlie’s phone, using the excuse that Bright (Grace) looked dirty.
Anna left shortly after, saying she had something to do, and Helena offered to help Grace change after Princess spilled water on her. Helena brought Grace to her room to help her change, but the child quickly refused, insisting she could do it herself. Helena then noticed some girl’s underwear, which surprised her.
Meanwhile, Julius arrived at the inn to check on Anna’s child, but Anna caught him trying to sneak in. She pulled him aside and reminded him she had warned him before. Julius insisted on seeing her child, but Anna thr£atened to scream if he didn’t leave.
“If you don’t let me see the child, I’ll call the police,” Julius countered.
“What for? Is it a crime to have a child?” Anna asked.
“Are you really the mother of that child, or is that just what you want us to believe?” Julius accused.
He told her he had investigated her and found no record of her having a child. He insisted that the child was Grace and accused Anna of kidnapping her. Anna defended herself, saying she didn’t kidnap anyone. Julius challenged her to prove it by showing him the child and warned that if she didn’t, he would call the police and have her sent to jail.
Helena overheard the word jail and intervened. Before Julius could say more, he received a call from Miranda, who told him about the tip Sarah had gotten from Oscar. She asked him to come back immediately because she needed him.
Julius tried to argue, saying it was impossible for Grace to be in Batangas, but Miranda didn’t give him the chance to refuse.
“I’ll be back,” he warned before leaving.
Helena turned to Anna, demanding answers. She wanted to know who Grace was and why Julius had threatened to send her to jail. Anna didn’t respond, leaving Helena in confusion.
Helena followed Anna inside, still pressing for answers.
Anna explained that Julius had mistaken Bright for the child he was looking for. Helena asked if that was the reason he was accusing her of kidnapping. Anna said it wasn’t true and that was why Julius had left.
Helena asked again if Julius was wrong and if Bright was really her child. Anna was shocked that her mother was doubting her. Helena reminded her of how she had left home, suddenly became desperate for money, and was trying to leave the country — as if she was hiding from someone.
She pointed out how Anna’s behavior seemed suspicious. Anna defended herself, saying she was Bright’s mother and would do what was best for her child. Helena then showed her the underwear she had found and demanded an explanation.
Anna, unable to deny anymore, admitted she had kidnapped Grace. Helena was stunned. Anna explained that Grace had been mistreated, but Helena argued that wasn’t enough reason to take her away. She reminded Anna that what she did was a crime.
Anna tried to explain further, but Helena wouldn’t listen. She told Anna about the danger her actions could put them all in . Anna apologized, but Helena accused her of only thinking about herself.
Meanwhile, Miranda and Sarah arrived at the place where Grace had supposedly been seen. Oscar updated them on the ongoing investigation, but nothing concrete had been found yet. Then, one of his men brought Grace’s uniform, which Sarah immediately confirmed belonged to her daughter.
