GLC Hack Drains Customer Accounts. Ling Acquires Solid Proof Against Irene, Oblivious of the Danger Lurking Around.
Grandma Nene excitedly tells Ling about her personal book club with the neighbors. She urges her to join her group in order to get her mind off things. Once the neighbors show up, they begin throwing jibes at Ling for obvious reasons.
Grandma Nene returns with pocketbooks for everyone and as Ling tries to apologize for the incident before, the girls cut her off and run her off. Cindy finds Bettina browsing for a wedding dress and she asks if she really wants to get married to Edward.
Bettina states that she needs Edward on account of the change in the family constitution. While Felix visits his father (Balong) and aunt (Pat) at home, Ling pesters Bingo with phone calls for updates.
Bingo puts on a show and makes it seem like he’s talking to his ex girlfriend who broke up with him recently. He sells the act and demands for Caroline to leave him alone. Irene gets quite sympathetic to his situation.
A faceless person hacks into the banking system of Golden Lotus and drains the personal accounts of account holders dry. In the meantime, Bingo decides to party with Irene and she gets him pretty drunk and wasted.
Jersey updates Ling who isn’t the least bit happy with the turn of events. Upon learning of the hacking incident, Wilson hurries to get to the office to salvage the situation. Pat tells Balong about how her conscience has been eating her up since she left the mansion.
She recounts seeing Caroline and considers telling her everything. Balong objects to it, telling her to stay out of it. Bingo gets over sentimental with Irene and she eventually gets disinterested with him and leaves.
He however catches up to her and pulls a stunt to woo her. Balong asks his son for an update on something he asked him to find. He cautions that they’ll be in big trouble if it all blows up in their faces.
Wilson has a talk with his people about how to solve the company’s current problem before things get out of hand. Irene sneaks Bingo into a room and tries to get cozy with him. She gets upset and kicks him out when he resists her.
Bingo calls Snoop to come and get him and he finds him in quite a mood. The next morning, Bingo arrives home as the family is set to have breakfast. Grandma Nene hounds him with questions while Ling gives him the stink eye.
While preparations are ongoing for the captain’s birthday party, Felix warns his buddy to ensure that his little plan succeeds. Apparently, the party is nothing but a ruse to get to Caroline. Ling interrogates Bingo about what happened last night with her sister.
Bingo gives her Irene’s phone and she gets into it and finally finds evidence – a photo of Felix. Quite eager to return home and redeem herself to her father, Ling begins packing her stuff. She thanks Bingo for everything and promises to pay him back soon.
Bingo urges her to have dinner first before she leaves. After receiving a cryptic phone call, Charleston grabs his luggage to leave home for a vacation. He runs into his parents at the door and Wilson asks to have a talk with him.
He tells him about the problem at the company and tries in vain to convince him not to leave. The neighbors invite Grandma Nene for Captain Tin’s birthday party and she asks to bring Caroline along.
Meanwhile, Bettina tends to Edward’s wounds and asks for his help to solve the hacking problem and prove to her father that she’s worthy to inherit all of GLC.Read Next Episode on Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 10
