In the meantime, the neighbors gossip about Ling and her decision to leave. Captain Tin unveils his sponsors who are dressed as clowns on an obvious mission. Bingo and Snoop arrive at a house and they offer to fix the leaking pipe.
Pat greets them at the door and as she leads them inside, Balong shows up and declares that no guests are welcome. Bingo recognizes the grumpy old man and recounts when he used to be his little helper at the market.
Balong invites him inside and they do some catching up. The goons disguised as clowns make deliberate efforts to fish for information on Bingo and his family from Captain Tin. In no time, Grandma Nene arrives with Monching and when the disguised goons learn that Ling is set to leave for home, one goes in search of her.
Balong recounts how his wife had died a horrible death because of a company she had been working for. The company had paid him compensation to settle the matter. Bingo is shocked to learn that it was Golden Lotus of Wilson Tiu, add in the fact that his mother also used to be a worker at the same company.
Balong notes that his mother was also given hush money. Bingo leaves with Snoop after saying his goodbyes. He suspects that Balong might still want revenge against the Tius. Meanwhile, Ling struggles to get a ride home and as she walks with her luggage, she begins to feel that someone is following her.
She bumps into Pat, the woman from the market who had given her candy before and she desperately asks to have a private talk with her about her past and her life. Ling is freaked out and insists that she’s in a hurry and the woman takes her phone number to contact her later.
Balong is exasperated over the botched plan to get Caroline and Felix notes that he has a second option in mind. Pat looks on in disbelief. Bingo and Snoop arrive at the birthday party, only to run into the leader of the goons there.
He notifies Captain Tin and he puts out an alert in the neighborhood group chat, turning everyone against the miserable guy. Bingo manages to sneak out while everyone else stands in the way of the goons and they only retreat when gúñs are pulled on them.
Bingo calls Caroline on the phone to check up on her and urge her to be careful. Later, he and his family apologize to the captain and the neighbors for keeping them in the dark about what’s been going on. Captain Tin goes on about how they need to stick together to protect each other.

While Cindy calls Bettina and Charleston and asks them to come home immediately, Balong calls Felix to give his approval for plan B. Once off the phone, Felix agrees to lend Irene the money but she’ll have to drive her to go and get it. Ling leaves home with Stephen in an attempt to get to Felix.
