“Anna and Grace’s hideout was discovered by the police after tracing Grace’s call to Sarah”
The episode starts with Miss Lucy packing her stuff and telling Anna she’ll be staying with her son, as Grace had managed to knock some sense into his head. Anna was surprised when she heard Lucy call Grace by her real name, and the woman told her how she found out.
Anna explained why she had to do that, and Miss Lucy encouraged her, as she believes Anna is already Grace’s mother because only a mother would do what Anna is doing for Grace. Miss Lucy left to get something when Anna saw Miranda on TV sending a warning to the person she believed Grace was with.
She gave the person 24 hours to make things right before it got worse. Anna looked on nervously. Anna brought Grace to an orphanage, and Grace, who thought that’s where they’d be staying, quickly joined the other kids to play. She later realized Anna was nowhere to be seen and started looking around for her.
She wanted to run after Anna but was held back by a woman. She started sobbing uncontrollably, calling out “Mama.” Anna heard her cries but had to hold herself back as she sobbed quietly. Meanwhile, Miranda was growing restless, expecting to get a call regarding Grace since the person now had only an hour left, but still nothing came.
Grace took out her book, looked through the memories she had written inside, and broke down again as she saw one she made for Anna. She called her mom, and before she could say anything, she heard Chito’s voice from behind and hung up, leaving Sarah wondering.
Grace tried to escape the orphanage but got caught as two women held onto her. While they were trying to stop her from leaving, Anna showed up, telling them to let go of her daughter. She quickly hugged Grace, saying sorry, and promised never to leave her again.
Julius, still suspicious of Anna, was with Oscar and wanted to know if Anna had left any address or phone number, but Oscar said she hadn’t. Sarah rushed to them and informed them that Grace had called her. She told them her instincts were right—that someone had kidnapped her daughter—because Grace had called her crying. She started begging Oscar for help.
Anna apologized to Grace again, but the girl didn’t care about what had happened as long as they were together again. Anna told her she would be her mother and Grace would be her daughter, assuring her they would not be separated again. Miranda came to where Sarah was, and she informed her about Grace.
She told her about Grace calling and assumed the k!dnapper saw her on the phone, which was why the call got disconnected. Miranda asked if she was sure the caller was Grace, and Sarah insisted she was, saying there was no way she wouldn’t recognize her own daughter.
Miranda assured her that the police were already working on it, tracing the call, and promised they would find her daughter. Julius asked Oscar if there was any update, and Oscar told him about the lead they got from the phone call, which came from an orphanage in Batangas.
Julius called Miranda to inform her about Grace’s possible location, and she asked him to send the address to her. Oscar and his team arrived at the place but were surprised to see Miranda and Sarah there too. He asked them what they were doing, and Miranda told him Sarah was the mother, so she had every right to be there.
Oscar and his team broke inside after getting no response when they called out. They searched inside but couldn’t find anyone. Sarah came in crying for her daughter, an action that pissed off Oscar. She found Grace’s drawings and told them they were Grace’s.
Meanwhile, Anna was able to escape with Grace before the police got to them. Sarah was sobbing, telling everyone that she was sure the drawings belonged to Grace, as she recognized her handwriting. Oscar told her it was an orphanage and there were many kids there, but Sarah insisted they belonged to Grace.
Anna asked Grace if she had called anyone when they were at the orphanage, and Grace guiltily told her she had called Sarah when she thought Anna was going to leave her. Anna asked if she had said anything, and Grace started sobbing, explaining that she hadn’t said anything because she immediately hung up when she heard Chito’s voice.
Looking at Grace’s condition, Anna decided not to be harsh on her and called her mother, Helena, seeking help.
