Kim Enlists Cyrus’ Help To Encourage Brandon To Face His Demons. Preparations for the Long-awaited Wedding Commences.
BMC arrives at the office only to learn that Kim has already gone to see Mr. Park. Meanwhile, Daniel tells Kim about his passionate project to provide opportunities to underprivileged children and orphans in Korea. Kim thanks him for the consideration, saying that she’s always wanted to help her fellow Filipinos.
Daniel tells her that they’ll be bringing the foundation to their partner countries in three to five years, with her as the director. He urges her to sleep on the matter. The Liwanags arrive at the Castillo residence for the family dinner and with introductions out of the way, Carlota welcomes them into their humble home.
The two families sit down to dine together and after Katrina let’s slip the job offer Kim had received, both families express their differing opinions on marriage, making Kim quite nervous. Brandon eventually drops off Kim at her place. He’s downcast because she’ll be leaving and Kim notes that it’s always been her dream to help children, and that she wouldn’t be gone for long.
Kim calls Cyrus on the phone to ask him for a favor. Brandon is exasperated to learn of Kim’s decision to reach out to Gladys, the daughter of the kidñappér (Dina). Cyrus tries to get through to him and encourage him to confront his demons once and for all.
Kim knocks on Gladys’ door and when Brandon suddenly joins her, they ask to talk to her. Once Gladys takes them inside, Brandon hyperventilates after seeing a photo of Dina and as Kim tries to leave with him, Gladys apologizes profusely for what her mother had done.
Kim consoles her as she breaks down and she turns to find Brandon gone. Kim finds Brandon outside reliving his traumatic incident and she wraps her arms around him, holding him close as he trembles and comes undone.
She goes on about how he’ll only find peace once he lets go of his anger and forgives. Brandon laments that he can’t seem to do it and Kim says it takes time to go through the entire process.
She decides not to leave for Korea anymore but Brandon objects to it, saying that it’s high time he deals with his trauma by himself. He refuses to hold her back from her dreams but asks for them to get married before she leaves. Kim agrees to it.
In no time, the couple begin making preparations for the wedding.BMC reaches out to Kim Marie for help and Kim gets nervous when Mrs. Carlota pays a sudden visit to her house alongside her wedding planner. Carlota dismisses her son to take care of matters.
She takes Kim to a beauty salon where she introduces her to a wedding makeup artist. Brandon gazes into the mirror, admiring his reflection with a smirk. He straightens his fashionable suit, exuding confidence and a sense of entitlement.
His eyes sparkle with self-importance as he envisions himself as the ultimate prize, believing that his fiancee is incredibly fortunate to have him as her husband. Phillip asks Steph to free up his schedule in preparation for Brandon’s wedding as his best man.
She and Walter point out that Cyrus would probably be the best man since the brothers are now on good terms. It gets pretty awkward from there. Meanwhile, Felix presents Kim with her mother’s antique wedding gown, its delicate lace and intricate details radiating warmth.
Kim’s eyes wells up as she touches the gown, feeling a deep connection to her late mother. Overcome with emotion, she hugs her father tightly, her sisters joining in, creating a tender family moment filled with løve and nostalgia. Read Final Episode On What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim Episode 20
