BMC Spares No Effort To Take His Relationship With Sec. Kim To The Next Level. Kim Is Bothered By Conflicting Account Of Ninja Boy.
At Prime Alpha, the marketing plan for Cyrus as the speaker of IdeaEx is laid out. Robert agrees to it but Carlota asks for a little change. Meanwhile, BMC tells Kim that she’ll definitely get hurt if Cyrus triggers her memory about the kidnapping.
Kim says she’ll never be whole until she remembers and she’s delighted when Brandon assures her that he’ll no longer interfere if she can handle it. Steph asks Jordy if he likes her and he replies casually and tries to kiss her. Sarah ruins the moment with her appearance.
She says whatever they’re up to is pointless because they already have a winner. Back at Prime Alpha, Cyrus states that he’ll be including an excerpt from his upcoming novel in his speech and Phillip agrees to it. Kim Marie and Ronnie are congratulated for winning the heart hunting game.
Walter begins bombarding Baldo with personal questions and Sarah stares at him sensually as he goes on about the type of woman he wants. BMC soon returns with Sec. Kim and the two have dinner together by a campfire.
Brandon reveals that he’ll be leaving in a while to prepare for his meeting with Park Group and that she should stay back and enjoy her time with the team because she also deserves a break. Upon arriving home, Cyrus thanks his father for his support, and his mother for everything she’s done for him.
BMC texts Sec. Kim to thank her for dinner, adding that they had a great day. Before exchanging good nights, he asks to have dinner with her again at his place once they return home. The next day, BMC closes the deal with Mr. Park after agreeing to closely work with his son.
After the meeting, Phillip asks Brandon why he seems so exceptionally happy, wondering if he had gotten possessed or something. Brandon trivializes the matter and takes his friend grocery shopping. After getting everything he needs, he orders a cab for Phillip and ditches him.
As the team prepares to leave the rest house, Steph and Jordy flirt over text. Kim is also engrossed in her own world as she and BMC text each other. While Kim tries to figure out the appropriate dress to wear for dinner, she receives a text from Cyrus asking her out to coffee.
She turns him down since she already has a prior appointment. Steph and Jordy try to get to know each other more but then when the experience becomes too awkward, Steph comes up with an elaborate excuse to back out.
After she leaves, Jordy opens the door to find her still standing there. Brandon is busy preparing steak in the kitchen when he’s mesmerized by Kim’s arrival. With his attempt to prepare something special for her having gone awry, Kim offers a helping hand to salvage the food.
A moment later, they have a sweet moment together as they enjoy the meal. Brandon goes in for a kiss but then images from his nightmare makes him snap out of it. He apologizes to Kim and she notes that he’s improving because at least he didn’t push her away this time.
Brandon’s second attempt to kiss Kim is foiled by Phillip’s sudden arrival. Ironically, Brandon jerks away from Kim and hides his face under the pillow while Kim leaves abruptly. Sneering, Phillip tells his buddy that he has some explaining to do. Carlota notifies Cyrus that a reporter has been investigating the kidnapping.
In no time, Cyrus meets up with Troy and urges him to drop it because his family wants to live in peace. Troy insinuates that they’re hiding something since they had erased almost all evidence of the incident. Cyrus demands for him to leave his family alone.
The next day at the office, Phillip apologizes to Sec. Kim for interrupting last night and she tells him that they were just having dinner and nothing more. When she asks about the scar she had seen on BMC’s ankle, Phillip gives a ridiculous excuse and flees. Jordy is woken up by his phone ringing.
He hurries to get ready after he’s informed that he’s to join Cyrus’ team for the AVP shoot. Once he’s off the phone, Steph tells him not to put any meaning into what happened between them. BMC arrives at the office racked with nerves following last night’s debacle.
He’s initially against Kim getting included in the AVP shoot. When Kim arrives at the Castillo residence, Carlota goes on about how she’s grateful that her son hadn’t gone through his ordeal all alone.
Apparently, he was trembling when they found him and now he gets cold and sick easily probably because of his trauma. Kim says she remembers Ninja Boy very differently; he was brave and took care of her. Carlota thanks her all the same, saying that she hopes the past stays in the past.
During the AVP shoot, Kim subtly checks Cyrus’ ankle but doesn’t find any scars there. She’s even more confused when she learns that he has a high tolerance for cold. Brandon begins to worry because the shoot has been dragging for too long.
He calms down after he calls Jordy for an update on his brother and Sec. Kim. Meanwhile, Cyrus has a heartfelt conversation with Kim about the sentimentality of the shoot location.
He laments over how he hurt his family and when Kim says he hasn’t hurt her, his reply is that he might one day. Cyrus asks if she’ll be able to forgive him then. Just then, Jordy comes to call him for the next take, leaving Kim as confused as before.
