Andrea Snaps After Her Dirty Secrets Are Exposed. Jane & Edward Finally Have Their Happy Ending.
The episode begins with Anton patrolling the hideout. Edward creeps up on him and knocks him down with a stick while Jane hurries to go and untie her brother. Instead of Edward to make sure that the sleazeball stays down for good, he decides to help Jane untie Monmon.
Anton takes him by surprise and pulls a gün on him and when Edward asks if he has it in him to k!ll his own son in cold blood, he taunts and mocks him. Fortunately, Edward manages to disarm him and they struggle for a while. He snatches the güñ and knocks Anton to the ground.
Edward shoots him as he pulls out a new wëâpon. The Montemayors dine together and Andrea and Eileen excitedly discuss their vacation. Just then, Robert receives the incriminating video from Edward and he confronts his wife about it. When Andrea asks to explain, he lashes out at her and she runs off.
Andrea calls Anton on the phone to order him to k!ll everyone. She’s taken by surprise to find out that Monmon had already been rescued and he’s in police custody. Once off the phone, Andrea confronts Eileen, suspecting that she had betrayed her.
Eileen denies it but still gets a dirty slap. She laments over how she never thought her mother could ever hurt her because she’s her real daughter. Andrea seems to regret her actions. Robert decides to turn in his wife but she refuses to surrender so he declares that they’re over.
Seething over everything she’s lost, Andrea blames Jane and vows to make her pay. Jane arrives home with Edward and Ofelia to find Andrea’s car outside. As Edward calls his father on the phone, Ofelia hurries inside to find Andrea with a gün and she strives to talk some sense into her.
A moment later, Edward enters the room with Jane and he also tries to reason with his mother, saying that she still matters to him. Fortunately, Andrea relents and decides to surrender. After she’s taken into custody, Robert and Edward visit her and she pleads with them for forgiveness but they walk out on her eventually without a word.
Ofelia urges Edward to try to forgive Andrea since it’s not good to hold onto resentment. For some reason, Edward breaks down and Ofelia goes right through him when she tries to hug him. A flashback reveals that Andrea hadn’t exactly surrendered.
She had tried to k!ll Jane but ended up k!lling Ofelia who had taken the büllet instead. The police then arrested her and Eileen as well. Presently, Jane gets quite emotional over how Ofelia had saved her life.
Brock comes to pick her up and later at the Evergreen mansion, she has a moment with Edward and Jane. After making the necessary preparations, Patricio introduces Ofelia to the other ghosts as the new manager of the Evergreen mansion. He says his goodbyes before everyone escorts him to the magic elevator to cross over.
Edward and Robert visit Eileen in prison while Andrea looks on from a short distance. Following the reopening of Lifeline Bar and the reunion of the band, Edward gives a heartfelt speech to his audience regarding his dreams and how Jane had made him a better person.
He gets emotional as he asks for a second chance with her. Edward proposes to Jane and both of their families and everyone else cheer them on as she agrees to marry him. Edward and Jane get on the stage and they perform a duet about their true love, bringing the show to an end.
