BMC Takes Sec. Kim On A Special Dinner Date. Tension & Conflict Arise Following Cyrus’ Sudden Appearance.
Sec. Kim pulls away from BMC and he ushers her into the car and states that she needs new clothes because she’s an extension of himself. Kim is at a loss for words, even as he points out that she’s worn the same clothes twice in two weeks.
BMC hands her some breakfast he had bought for her and urges her to try it and to also use the incentives they have to get new clothes. Robert wants to call a specialist to clean up the blood but then Cyrus manages to scrub it without ruining the fabric. Robert then chips in and Carlota observes as father and son bond.
In the meantime, Sec. Kim updates BMC on his agenda for the day as they walk to the office together. BMC surprises team Bida Best by congratulating them for accomplishing everything for the IdeaEx event.
A moment later, Sec. Kim is conflicted when Cyrus shows up to see his brother. Apparently, he wants to apologize because he feels bad about what happened last night. When Kim points out that Brandon has back-to-back meetings, Cyrus decides to leave in order not to stress her out.
Phillip tells Brandon to tell his “cuz whom he doesn’t know” that he needs to make a special romantic love confession to the woman he likes before someone else beats him to it, or before she loses interest completely.
Once Steph shows up, Brandon asks for a regular restaurant recommendation and he leaves appalled when she rattles the kind of food they serve there. Exasperated, Phillip tells Steph that BMC had asked for a restaurant not a butcher’s shop. He joins Brandon in his office and finds him looking at prospective venues.
Brandon recalls the moments he had with Kim at the themed park, smiling to himself. Sarah brings Sec. Kim the financial projections the boss had asked for. She gushes over how cute he is, asking if Kim doesn’t have any attraction towards him.
Kim shushes her and after he leaves, she stretches her neck to look into the office. BMC comes out from the other side and asks her to have dinner with him because he wants to tell her something important. Kim gets flustered and ends up having a paper cut and Brandon insists on applying the plaster on her finger.
Carlota tells Cyrus that he needs to go through Sec. Kim to get through to his brother. Cyrus says he had already tried that and Carlota states that Kim will put him on his brother’s schedule once she trusts him. In no time, Cyrus emails Kim as Morpheus to ask for a meetup to discuss IdeaEx.
Kim Marie tells Sarah and the others of her suspicions regarding Roni – that he has only one shirt and not ten sets of the same shirt. When her plan to prove it goes awry, Sarah warns her not to ruin her happy pill. She bumps into Baldo in her fuss.
On video call, Kim talks to Kat about her dinner date with her boss and she’s inclined to believe that he’s going to confess his love for her. Kim brushes it off and when Kla arrives and begins with her questions, she hangs up to try on a blue dress.
Instead of calling back Kat to ask for her opinion after trying on the dress, Kim mistakenly calls Brandon and he observes with amusement from his office. However, he suddenly drops his phone as Kim takes off the dress to try another one. Kim picks up her phone to realize that “her sister” had hanged up.
She’s horrified to realize that she had called BMC instead of Kat. Cyrus is disappointed when Sec. Kim replies to his email asking for a reschedule because she already has a prior appointment tonight. Upon returning to the office, Kim laments over how she had mistakenly called her boss.
She asks if he saw anything and BMC denies it, but then tells her that she looked good in the dress. Following a meeting with the board members of Prime Alpha, BMC takes Sec. Kim to a restaurant and he asks her to head inside while he talks to the manager.
Cyrus spots Kim and calls her on the phone as Morpheus to talk about IdeaEx. He approaches Kim at her table and she’s shocked to realize that he’s Morpheus. Coming upon the scene, Brandon asks his brother what he’s doing there and it’s now his time to be shocked when Cyrus reveals that he’s his speaker.
Brandon strongly objects to it and takes his brother outside to talk to him. They exchange a couple of choice words, with Cyrus stating that he was merely trying to earn Sec. Kim’s trust to help him reconcile with him.
Brandon demands for him to stay away from his entire life. He heads back inside to question Kim and she apologizes for the honest mistake, saying that they should just talk about it tomorrow.
On her way out, Kim runs into Cyrus and when she questions how he had deceived her, Cyrus apologizes, saying that he just needed her help to reconcile with his brother. Kim gives him an earful before walking out on him too. Read Next Episode on What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim Episode 7
