“Camila Confronts the Dela Torres as Rico Faces a Tragic End”
At the hospital, Camila comforted Emma who was clearly still shaken. Meanwhile, Vito confided in Aran, explaining how he discovered Camila was alive. Although they had worked together to bring Luciano down, she never fully disclosed her plans to him. Back at home, Manay Ichu kept staring at Camila’s photograph. Iking, seeing this, suggested taking it down since she was no longer dead and there was no longer a need to mourn.
Aran urged Iking to convince Tessa to stay, but Vito admitted that he had been selfish and that Tessa deserved to pursue her own happiness, even if it meant leaving. That night, Camila was haunted by a nightmare and woke up crying. Emma found her and asked if the dream was about the bømbing.
Camila opened up, saying that her painful past was once again resurfacing to torment her. She vowed to make things right. Later, at the hospital, Emma spoke to a couple whom Elias had earlier given flowers to. Elias, watching from a distance, became upset upon seeing this. He discarded the flowers in frustration.
Emma followed him, attempting to explain that she was already burdened with guilt over the explosion. Elias warned her to leave Las Espadas and allow the townspeople to heal. As he walked away, Luna appeared from a distance and gently held his hand, suggesting they leave together.
Meanwhile, a surprise visitor showed up at the Dela Torre residence Camila, accompanied by Rico, her planted spy who had been working as their driver. Everyone was stunned. Camila looked at Luis and recalled when he was still a child. Now, he was the town’s mayor. She told the family she came to help them, especially since their plantation had been shut down.
Argot, one of the housemaids, angrily rejected her offer, saying they would rather perish than accept her help. Guada immediately silenced her, asking her to stay out of the conversation. Guada then welcomed Camila, though Tatiana wasn’t as forgiving. She hurled harsh words at Camila, but Camila stood her ground, saying she could call her a monster if she wanted but Luciano, in her eyes, was far worse.
Camila revealed that Luciano had been involved in illegal operations through the plantation and had k!lled many people, including her father, Renato. The family was left stunned by this revelation.
Elsewhere, Tsoknat was spreading the latest town gossip to Manay Ichu and Iking. She spoke about how people believed Luciano had risen from the grave, claiming his coffin had been opened.
Iking clarified that it was because someone had stolen his body. Tsoknat then mentioned Camila’s return to Las Espadas and jokingly asked for recognition for keeping them informed. Iking told her they already knew since Camila had visited Manay Ichu the previous night. Tsoknat was taken aback and warned Manay Ichu to keep her distance from Camila, fearing the angry townspeople might harm her.
Back at the mansion, Guada expressed regret over Luciano’s actions and admitted she felt responsible for the way he turned out. She also claimed Camila should have asked her for help. Camila laughed bitterly, calling her out for turning her back on her in her darkest hour. She reminded Guada of how she had labeled her bad luck, discarded all her photos, and even forbade others from mentioning her name.
Camila scolded her further, pointing out that Guada didn’t even build a grave for her in the family mausoleum, yet had the audacity to say she should have reached out. She called her a hypocrite. Luis, witnessing the tense exchange, told Camila that if she still held a grudge against the family, then there was no point in her being there. Camila clarified that her intention wasn’t to rekindle ties but to help the farmers who lost everything.
Later, Camila spoke with her investigator, who reported that they still hadn’t located the nurse who had been with Vida. Emma entered and urged Camila to consider leaving Las Espadas. Camila, however, reminded her that she had made a promise to set things right and was relying on Emma’s support. Emma, overwhelmed, said it might be impossible since the townsfolk viewed them as the ones responsible for the bømbing.
At the K!ller Café, Luna approached Elias, trying to comfort him. She reassured him he would eventually move on from Emma and asked about Intoy. Elias replied that his family said he would be back soon. A drunken man, whose family perished in the Dia De Esperanza explosion, suddenly appeared, shouting Camila’s name and pleading to see her. He was quickly escorted out, but Elias intervened and asked the crowd to show compassion, explaining the man was still grieving.
Camila, on the other hand, was devastated by Emma’s suggestion that she should shoulder all the blame for the bømbing and Fabio’s condition. She insisted she never intended for any of it to happen and expressed deep sorrow over Fabio’s state, especially not knowing when he would regain consciousness. She said leaving wasn’t an option now, especially after learning that her child might still be alive.
Meanwhile, Rico, Camila’s spy, left the mansion on his motorcycle. However, someone had been keeping an eye on him. A man, dressed in a suit, was alerted and began to follow Rico. Despite Rico’s innocence in the explosion, his connection to Camila made him a target.
While riding, Rico was struck and knocked off his motorcycle. The attacker wasn’t satisfied he proceeded to kick Rico in the head, knocking him unconscious, before running him over with a car, leading to his death. Passersby later gathered around his lifeless body in horror.
The next day, Inspector Alejandro visited the Dela Torre mansion to discuss Luciano. He pointed out that they were lucky Luciano had warned them to leave the stage earlier. Mayor Luis, irritated by his presence, asked him to leave. As the inspector was walking out, he received a call.
Elsewhere, Andres performed a ritual over Iking, while Tatiana sat in her room, anxiously texting Juan Felipe, wondering where he could be. Camila later confirmed that the corpse they found was Rico’s. Inspector Alejandro said there were two possible scenarios: it could’ve been a hit-and-run by someone who panicked, or it was a deliberate act to ensure Rico’s death.
Vito arrived and asked if it was truly an accident. Camila was convinced it was done by Luciano’s remaining goons, acting out of revenge. The inspector speculated the attacker could have already fled town, especially since Luciano was dead and no one remained to pay him. Camila disagreed, believing it might be someone who had been working closely with Luciano not for money, but as an accomplice.
Vito asked how she was holding up, and Camila replied that she was okay and thanked him for taking care of Emma in her absence. Guada, still shaken by Luciano’s secrets, wondered who could have taken his corpse. Later, Mayor Luis offered Emma a drink and told her he appreciated how she understood him.
Emma expressed her gratitude, saying he was the only one who truly understood her. Luis admitted he knew what it felt like to be forced into living a life one never wanted. He was also grateful that Emma opened up to him about Camila, giving him the chance to understand her better. However, he remained saddened by Camila’s anger toward their family. Later, Camila arrived and asked Luis for a favor.Read Next Episode On The Killer Bride Episode 43
