Emma’s Heartbreak and Camila’s Discovery Shake the Dela Cuestas
Emma was heartbroken after rejecting Elias, shedding tears alone while Elias, too, grieved deeply. Meanwhile, Fabio finally disclosed to Camila that Antonia had confessed to knowing about Javier’s death but kept quiet despite being aware of his intentions to meet her.
Over at the Dela Cuesta mansion, Vito questioned Edmundo about his attendance and the reason behind his absence. He appeared convinced by Fabio’s explanation, but secretly, he had uncovered a suspicious clue about him. In a flashback, Vito was seen confronting their family driver, Albert.
Terrified, Albert admitted he had been asked to go on leave so Fabio could temporarily take his place as the driver. Albert revealed that Fabio paid him a significant amount of money just to secure the role. Vito warned Albert not to say a word about what he knew.
A new chapter was beginning in Las Espadas following the disappearance of Mayor Juan Felipe, who was once known for his firm leadership. In previous events, Juan Felipe fled town to evade arrest after inadvertently admitting to orchestrating the murder of Marvin Cruz. Camila, who had drugged and interrogated him, recorded the confession and had Fabio leak it to the public.
Still, Vito found it strange that Luciano seemed unusually close to the acting mayor. Vice Mayor Marciana, who is Mildred’s aunt, stepped in to fill the mayor’s role. She immediately held a town meeting, urging the citizens of Las Espadas to move forward, regardless of how painful the healing process might be.
She emphasized the need to abandon greed, betrayal, and internal conflict. However, some townsfolk misunderstood her words, assuming she was protecting Juan Felipe from facing the consequences of his actions. Elsewhere, Guada apologized to Marvin Cruz’s mother for what her son had done. Luna opened up about her ongoing struggle with insomnia after Benjamin’s death.
Tension rose at the town hall meeting when Emma, Elias, and Dako Paroon’s leaders gathered. Elias said things were fine, even though Emma had turned down his proposal. After the assembly, Emma visited the Dela Torre mansion. Despite her recent conflicts involving Juan Felipe, the family received her warmly. Donya Guada and Alice both expressed that Juan Felipe must have been out of his mind.
Tatiana, however, disagreed. As Juan Felipe’s closest sister and confidant, she insisted that her brother was not insane. Tatiana believed in his claims that Emma was involved in a conspiracy. Her anger deepened as she revealed that Juan Felipe had stopped answering her calls, leaving her worried for his safety.
Luciano, who had recently been exposed as a villain, chastised Tatiana’s outburst and remained cordial with Emma. Later, Emma saw Ornusa and recalled hearing a conversation between her and Camila while Camila was still recovering from being $hot. Emma confided in Ornusa about everything Camila had revealed. But Ornusa warned her to be careful and avoid being discovered by the Dela Torres.
While they talked, Luciano was already looking for Emma and eventually found her. Meanwhile, Elias continued pretending he was unaffected by Emma’s rejection. Intoy didn’t buy it, finding Elias’s quick recovery unbelievable. Elias said he respected Emma’s decision. Emma later thanked Luciano for welcoming her, and Luciano admitted he was relieved that Juan Felipe was gone. He even confessed that he never imagined he would trust Emma over his own brother.
Elias remained convinced that Emma was hiding something. He believed that her secret was the real reason she rejected him, especially since she never explicitly said she had no feelings for him—only that they couldn’t be together. Determined to uncover the truth and help her, Elias, already drunk, raised another glass and made a toast with Intoy.
Emma broke down once again after remembering Elias’s words at the meeting. Manay Ichu found her crying and comforted her. Emma admitted that she hadn’t anticipated it would hurt so much to reject Elias. Manay Ichu explained that it was because Emma had real feelings for him but made that choice because she believed it was the best one for now. Emma vowed to remain strong and endure the pain.
Meanwhile, Camila set her focus on investigating the Dela Cuestas. Luna, still battling insomnia, had another haunting dream about the killer bride attacking them and k!lling Benjamin. Antonia later entered Luna’s room and offered her some sleeping pills, warning that she should only take three, as they might cause vivid dreams.
She also invited Luna to join her for a drink, but Luna declined, saying she was trying to cut back on alcohol. Luna took the medicine as Antonia left. At the same time, Vito received a call from his spy, who had tracked Edmundo to a warehouse. Taking advantage of Vito’s absence, Camila broke into his secret room. Meanwhile, Luna still couldn’t sleep despite the pills, so she tried listening to music and took another dose.
Vito’s spy distracted the person watching the house, allowing Vito to climb over the walls and sneak inside. However, he was misled—Fabio had gone to a different location to divert Vito’s attention, creating the perfect opportunity for Camila to explore his hidden room. As she sifted through documents, she found information about her attorney’s last known location.
She remembered the attorney telling her about a message from someone who could help identify the man with the tattoo. Later, news broke that her attorney had been found hanging. Camila grew suspicious, wondering how Fabio had obtained such sensitive documents. As she stood in the basement, someone suddenly opened the door. Read Next Episode On The Killer Bride Episode 32
