Anirudh says, “Your problems aren’t just yours, I’m with you, trust me.” Jhanak cries. Aye Zindagi… plays. He takes her with him. Vinayak asks where Jhanak will stay. Anirudh says at my place. Vinayak says she can stay in my house, too. Anirudh says she won’t be safe with Shrishti. Vinayak agrees, saying yes, right, but I will be there.
Anirudh replies that he will handle his family and that it’s his responsibility to keep peace for her there. He thanks Vinayak for his concern and says to trust him, he will handle it. Vinayak tells Jhanak to say something. Jhanak, in tears, says she doesn’t have anything to say. Vinayak says Shrishti can’t be forgiven and that Brij was a good-hearted person; he got to know him recently.
Anirudh asks Jhanak to come. Kajal asks Lalon and Appu to sing. The host calls out their names. Kajal tells Appu to sing well and adds that there’s nothing between them except this favour. She wishes him good luck. Lalon and Appu go on stage to perform. Arshi tells Tanuja that Anirudh is bringing Jhanak home. Tanuja asks what. Arshi says he told her if Jhanak stays here, then she won’t stay. Shubh gets angry. Arshi says Anirudh has changed and she doesn’t even recognize him anymore.
Anjana asks where Jhanak will go, wondering if Shrishti might try to kill her again. Arshi scolds her. Lal tells Anjana not to get involved. Anjana asks how he can stand with Arshi and says she is ashamed to call him her son. Meanwhile, Lalon and Appu sing well and everyone applauds their performance. Anuradha thanks Kajal for making it possible. Kajal says it’s their talent that made it happen. Tanuja and Bipasha also get into an argument with Anjana.
Tanuja says Anirudh won’t have a place in the house if Jhanak stays there, insisting that Jhanak can’t stay. Dadi arrives. Shubh says a decision will be taken today. Bablu enters and announces that Jhanak’s father has been shot and has passed away. Dadi says something terrible has happened, then asks where Jhanak is. Anirudh arrives with Jhanak.
Dadi asks how he could bring her home. Arshi says she asked him not to. Anirudh replies that he didn’t promise her that. Shubh says Bablu is not doing the right thing, and it’s causing harm to Arshi. He says the family is being ruined. They all start arguing with Anirudh about Jhanak. Choton defends her. Bablu says Vinayak offered Jhanak his house, but Shrishti is there the same Shrishti who wanted to kill her so Jhanak shouldn’t stay there.
He tells Arshi to stop doing wrong and says he will support the truth. Shubh asks him if he has proof. Bablu asks if Shubh has proof in Shrishti’s favour and says he will do what he believes is right. Lal says it’s Arshi’s personal matter. Bablu replies that Lal’s senses have been on leave for days, and if he couldn’t be a good son, he should at least be a good human being. He adds that they couldn’t give him good values. Dadi says Jhanak can’t stay there because everyone has a problem with her. Bablu says he has no problem. Choton agrees.
Anirudh says he wants to make it clear if they don’t want Jhanak to stay here, then he will leave with her. He says even Jhanak didn’t want to come, but he brought her because he thought Arshi wouldn’t be able to accept it. Vinayak arrives and says he supports them. He says he knew this would happen, and that’s why he came. Arshi accuses Jhanak of trying to frame Shrishti. Vinayak says no one is framing her; she’s facing the consequences of her own actions. Shubh asks what he means. Jhanak requests to leave.
Bablu says she won’t go anywhere. Choton says they brought her here, so she should stay. Arshi says she can’t watch all this and scolds them. Vinayak tells Arshi to end the relationship if she’s not getting anything from it. Jhanak says she never wanted to come between them and asks to be left alone. Tanuja calls her a drama queen. Choton says Jhanak won’t tolerate their insults this time, that they have no love or respect for her.
He explains she wanted to go to her father’s house, but her life was in danger, and that’s why they forced her to come here. Arshi asks why they are ruining their lives. Choton says she is like a daughter to this family. Vinayak tells Arshi to watch her language. Shubh asks if Jhanak will stay there. Anirudh says yes, absolutely, she will stay there until she gets better. Tanuja accuses Jhanak of ruining her son and the family. Dadi scolds Anirudh.
Anirudh says they think everything is normal, but Brij got murdered and Shrishti tried to kill Jhanak. He says yet they find only his behaviour strange. He challenges Arshi to try and throw Jhanak out of the house and asks if she can remove Jhanak’s memories from their relationship. He then asks Anjana to take care of Jhanak. Anjana asks Jhanak to come with her.
Vinayak says it would be better if no one ever gets a mother like Shrishti. Arshi calls Jhanak a devil and pushes her to the floor. Jhanak falls, and Anirudh holds her, asking if she’s okay. Arshi says she deserves this and accuses her of acting. Anirudh says Arshi is the one doing a drama, that she can’t stop him and is making a big mistake. He asks her to stop it right away.
Choton says Jhanak just lost her father how much more will they torture her? Vinayak says he’s ashamed of Arshi. Dadi tells Anjana to take Jhanak away. Tanuja sarcastically says they should build a temple for Jhanak and perform her aarti. Bipasha asks how long Jhanak will stay. Anirudh says he won’t answer that and declares she will stay as long as he wants. He shouts at Arshi. Anjana takes Jhanak inside.
