Mahi calls Kavya, but she doesn’t pick up. Anupama asks her not to worry and says Kavya must be busy and will call back after seeing the missed call. Mahi says a mother should pick up her child’s call and adds that Kavya must be getting beauty treatment to hide her age. Anupama tells her not to say such things about her mother.
Mahi complains that Anupama scolds her a lot these days. Anupama replies that Mahi is also losing patience and assures her that Kavya will call. Mahi says she wants to tell her about the engagement. Anupama asks if she should call her Anu Maa or Mummy. Mahi says she thought to call her if Rahi hadn’t found.
Anupama asks if she’s not her mother now that Rahi has been found. Mahi calls her Anu Maa and hugs her. Anupama tells her she will talk to Kavya and asks her not to worry. Mahi says she wants to do engagement shopping. Anupama gives her the debit card but tells her not to spend too much. Mahi says she wants to buy something for everyone. Anupama tells her to go ahead as Prem is waiting. She smiles and says she has become a mother to one more child.
Mahi and Prem go to a wedding boutique. The manager asks if they want to do twinning. Prem says, “As you say.” Mahi says yes to twinning. The salesgirl goes to bring the collection. Mahi mentions that Ansh, Pari, and Rahi went shopping separately. Prem thinks Rahi is avoiding him, which is why she went separately. Mahi thinks it’s good that Rahi didn’t come with them.
Prem sees Rahi at the same shop trying on an orange dress and gets surprised. Rahi thinks she came here to avoid Prem and now has to try this dress. They both look at each other. Mahi comes and shows her dress to Prem, then notices Rahi and asks if she’s there too. Rahi says she saw a good collection on display and came inside, offering her dress to Mahi. Mahi declines it.
Anupama asks Janki Behen about the customers and their payments. Janki tells her not to worry and says everything will be fine. She advises not to spend too much since Prem’s family isn’t around. Anupama insists on a lavish marriage for Mahi since she never asked for anything except Prem. Just then, she gets a message from Kavya and is shocked.
Mahi gets upset seeing Rahi there and wonders why she always comes between them. She thinks no matter what, Prem will be hers. Rahi falls, and Prem catches her, causing them to fall together onto the clothes. A romantic song plays. Mahi is trying on her dress. Prem and Rahi stand up.
The Salesgirls arrive and say what a perfect pair they are and ask if they’re getting married. Rahi says Prem is marrying her sister. They apologize. Prem says not to be sorry, as they are a perfect pair. Mahi joins them and shows her dress. Prem compliments her and says he will wear white because orange and white look good together. Mahi agrees.
Anupama says Kavya has informed her that she can’t attend the wedding due to her busy schedule. She says Mahi will feel bad. Janki Behen tells her there’s no comparison between her and Kavya, as Anupama is the one truly caring for Mahi like a mother. Anupama says she has a bond of love with Mahi and will do her kanyadaan as her mother, giving her all the happiness she deserves.
Janki Behen says Anupama is great for doing so much for Kavya and her daughter, who once broke her home. Anupama says she won’t punish Mahi for someone else’s mistakes. She gets a call and walks aside. Janki Behen recalls Rahi’s words and wonders if she should tell Anupama about Rahi and Prem’s love. She debates whether to break Rahi’s promise or risk breaking three hearts.
Rahi asks the staff to start billing and says she’ll get something for her mother. Prem asks about her foot. Mahi also asks. Rahi says it’s just a slight sprain. Prem suggests they go together. Mahi watches and tells Rahi that she knows Prem is her jija ji and she should maintain distance with him. She adds that she wants to be Prem’s best friend too and doesn’t want any misunderstandings like what happened with Ansh.
Anupama meets a lady and assures her she won’t disappoint her. The lady says it’s her first kitty party and she joined on her bahu’s recommendation. Anupama agrees that it’s a good step and says women can feel lonely when their children start their own families. The lady says she’ll finalize the menu with her wife and offers to drop Anupama home. Anupama declines and says she’ll sit and check the menu first.
Prem wonders what Mahi and Rahi talked about that made Rahi upset. A goon spots Prem and Rahi, greets them, and says he’s the one who once stole Prem’s wallet and got beaten up by him—and especially by bhabhi. He says Prem is lucky to have such a loving girl and leaves. Mahi gets angry and asks Prem why the goon called Rahi bhabhi. Prem tells her to get into the jeep.
Rahi explains that she beat the goons when they attacked Prem, just like she did for Ansh, and asks her not to spoil her mood over such people. Mahi walks off upset. Rahi starts to follow, but Prem holds her hand and asks why she beat the goons when they attacked him. Rahi tells him to let go and follows Mahi. Prem thinks everything is going wrong. Anupama sees Prarthana at the restaurant. Prarthana drops a photo of herself and Prem on the floor. She picks it up as Anupama walks up to her.
