Jhanak cries for Brij. Brij says he told her they didn’t let him live and warns her to take care because they will not leave her. She shouts for help. He tells her to call Anirudh, saying only he can help her and do it for his sake. She says they will go to the hospital, but he insists on calling Anirudh. She shouts for help again. He drops his hand. She shouts for her papa and cries.
She calls Anirudh. Anirudh comes to his room and gets her call. He answers. She cries. He asks what happened, if she is in trouble, or if she came home. She says someone shot her papa. He is shocked and asks who did it. She says she doesn’t know, the goons ran away. He says he feared this and told her he would drop her. She says they would have killed him too. He asks where Brij is and if he is alive. She says he is in her lap and bleeding. He tells her not to cry, they will try their best, and he is coming. He tells her to call the ambulance and rushes out.
He shouts for Choton and says there was an accident. Arshi says he doesn’t need to go even if something happened to Jhanak, she will manage. He says he doesn’t have time and must go. Shubh stops him. Anirudh says he has to go because Brij is shot. He asks if they expect him not to go there. Shubh says Brij isn’t related to him. They argue. Everyone tries to stop him.
Anirudh insists he doesn’t have time and will decide. Anjana asks where the accident happened. Anirudh tells them everything and says they can save Brij if he is alive. Kajal asks Lalon to take the commissioner’s help. Anuradha tells him to call the commissioner. Shubh scolds Choton. Arshi stops Anirudh and argues with him.
Appu says they will go to the concert and sing to earn money. Kajal asks Lalon to take the call from the organizers. He says she went there and asked them to call him. She asks what wrong she did. Appu says they will sing, earn money, and buy fish for everyone. Lalon says they don’t need charity. Anuradha says Kajal didn’t do wrong. Kajal tells him to just go and sing with Appu.
Anirudh says it means Arshi’s mom hired a shooter to kill Brij. Arshi reacts. Everyone lectures him. Anirudh questions if they are even human and scolds them. Shubh says he is insulting his father. Tanuja says Jhanak has poisoned his mind against them and it’s all over.
Anirudh says he still believes goodness exists in the house. Lal asks if he doesn’t value Arshi. Anirudh says he doesn’t value her words. Tanuja says she gave him birth and raised him and asks if her words mean nothing. Anirudh says he can’t explain what Jhanak means to him. He leaves with Choton. Shubh says he will lose everything for Jhanak.
Anuradha asks Lalon to sing because they are going through a bad time. Kajal and Appu also encourage him to sing. The neighbors gather. Jhanak asks someone to call the ambulance. She cries. The police arrive. The inspector tells them to take the body to the hospital. Jhanak scolds him. She begs Brij to come back or she will die.
Appu misses Jhanak. Lalon says Jhanak is in deep pain. He asks Kajal to give him some time. Anuradha scolds him. He refuses to go. Appu says she will go. Kajal says she will take Appu and tells Lalon not to control her. Lalon says fine, he won’t go. Kajal leaves.
Anirudh, Choton, and Bablu arrive where Jhanak is. Anirudh calls out to Jhanak. She begs him to save her father. She tells him they were about to leave the city forever to start a small life in Mumbai. Anirudh cries.
Vinayak goes to Shrishti. She denies any knowledge about the call. They argue about Jhanak. He tells her she will be punished in this birth and asks if she knows the news. She asks what news. He tells her Brij was murdered. She acts shocked. He asks if she is happy. She says she is sad for him. He reminds her that he was her husband. She says it’s not proven and insists that one day he will know it’s a lie. He says that’s why the proofs were erased and accuses her of murder.
Bablu asks if it’s true. The inspector says they have to take Brij to the hospital before making an official declaration. Choton asks how it happened. The inspector says Brij was coming from court, and they will do an enquiry and take him immediately. Anirudh insists they have to take him to the hospital. They can save him.
Jhanak says she is asking Anirudh something for the first time to save her dad—and she will leave his city forever. He says they should go as Brij needs treatment. She agrees and says they will take him to the best doctor.Bablu consoles Jhanak. Choton says nothing will happen to Brij. They take Brij on the stretcher. Jhanak says her dad will get fine. She cries. Anirudh says he will be with her and fulfil Brij’s words. She asks if he means her dad isn’t alive. He says he didn’t say that.
