Brij asked Anirudh to take care of Jhanak. Anirudh promised him. Brij blessed him. Arshi said that once this case ends, Anirudh will see her true face. Anurag confessed that Tejas gave him money, he made a mistake, and was ready to bear the punishment. He said he wanted to repent and claimed that Shrishti was with Tejas. Shrishti denied it, saying he was lying. Shubh raised an objection, but Debashish told him it was his responsibility to control his client.
Anurag continued and admitted that he accepted Tejas’ offer and lied to Jhanak about Anirudh’s accident. He said Jhanak was tense and he was asked to drop her home, but Tejas was also in the car. Jhanak had started shouting, and he used a spray to make her unconscious. After that, they pushed the car into the river. Tejas told him to go to Srinagar, and he followed the instruction. He said he was sinking in guilt and that Tejas had kept an eye on him. When he saw the news, he decided to return and tell the truth.
Shubh insisted that Anurag was making up stories. The judge asked if there was any proof. Debashish said he wanted to submit some documents to support Anurag’s statement. The judge checked the documents while Shubh continued to argue with Debashish. Debashish asked Jhanak what she remembered. Jhanak said when she regained consciousness, she was at an ashram. A Sadhu baba was there, and he introduced her to Brijbhushan.
She said she didn’t know Brij and Kul were twin brothers, and after some days, she found out that she was Brij and Shrishti’s daughter. Shrishti immediately denied it and said Jhanak wasn’t her daughter. Arshi said she knew and trusted Shrishti. Shubh said he had a witness, but the judge noted that there wasn’t any other name in the witness list and adjourned the court for the day.
Outside, Arshi stopped Jhanak and begged her. Lal told Jhanak to leave Anirudh, but Jhanak said she didn’t snatch Anirudh. Arshi accused her of confusing Anirudh and reminded her that she had also suffered a lot. Brij asked Lal not to insult Jhanak. Tanuja said they would accept the court decision, but asked Jhanak if she could leave Anirudh’s life.
Brij questioned if Anirudh was a child and said he had no relation with Jhanak but still kept coming back into her life and wanted to stand by her, and he didn’t find anything wrong with that. Arshi argued back. Jhanak said Arshi couldn’t control her partner. Anirudh had helped her a lot, and she also wanted to help him. Anirudh was with Arshi because she didn’t get him in her life. They all insulted her and made her do excessive work as if they owned her. She added that she and her dad were leaving the city. Lal told her to go and never return.
Brij asked why they were talking like that and questioned if they had bought the city. Lal said no, and told her to shift to Mumbai where she would get plenty of work. Brij told Jhanak to come with him. Jhanak told Arshi she never had any affection for her or her mum, and that’s why she always insulted her. But times had changed, and now it was proved they had the same mother.
Jhanak said she didn’t want Shrishti’s name or status and that Arshi couldn’t behave like before anymore. Arshi asked if she wanted to get Anirudh back. Jhanak replied that it meant Arshi accepted she had lost him. Arshi said Anirudh was only hers. Jhanak asked then why was she afraid. Tanuja said they didn’t care if Jhanak was Shrishti’s daughter. Jhanak said if they wanted to stay together, no one could stop them. Lal asked what she meant.
Jhanak said she always wanted everyone to stay happy and that she never contacted Anirudh. She knew Arshi loved Anirudh, and she also loved him a lot. She said she didn’t find anything wrong with that and cried, saying Anirudh loved her, not Arshi. Brij defended Jhanak. Anirudh came and said he had booked a cab for her. Lal and Tanuja taunted them. Arshi offered money to Jhanak and asked her to leave Anirudh.
Anirudh told Arshi to stop insulting Jhanak. Brij asked Anirudh to go with his family. Jhanak said she always ended up being insulted and questioned why she was tolerating it. She said there couldn’t be any relationship between them and that she had explained this many times. Anirudh said their lives were connected, and he was saying in front of everyone that he would fight the world to stand by her.
Choton arrived and met Jhanak. She asked him to give her greetings to the family. He told her that Lalon had suffered a big loss in business and that he was standing by him. Jhanak said she wished she could help him but maybe another time, as they wouldn’t stay there now. Anirudh stopped her. Arshi said if he wanted to go with Jhanak, he should. He asked if she was saying it from her heart. Lal said he was embarrassing them.
Jhanak scolded Arshi and left with Brij. Anirudh looked on sadly. Jhanak said she had already booked the tickets, and she didn’t want anything else if Anirudh was with her. She said they would make a new start in Mumbai. Anirudh said he was waiting for the judge’s decision. Jhanak told him she had started working in Mumbai earlier but had to come back.
She mentioned that Aditya was a good friend who had helped her a lot. She said they had to show the truth, and she was alive because of him. They reached home. Jhanak offered to make the payment, but the driver said it was already done. Brij said he wasn’t surprised, as Anirudh must have made the payment. Just then, some goons arrived. One of them shot Brij. Jhanak was left in shock.
