Tanuja says, Anirudh, you are ruining Arshi’s life. Lal asks Anirudh to consider his behaviour. Anirudh replies that he didn’t cage her; she can free herself. Shubh says she will never leave his life, as she is their bahu and the relation will never break. Anirudh says if she isn’t with him… Lal says everything can get fine if he changes his decision. Anjana asks Anirudh to calm down and have food. Anirudh refuses and walks away. Shubh and Bablu argue. Dadi asks them to stop it. Shubh says Anirudh can’t insult them. Choton taunts Arshi.
Kajal gets groceries for Anuradha. Lalon says she is doing this because he lost his job. She replies that she has eaten food from there many times and got groceries just once; it doesn’t mean she is helping them. Appu says the contractor has run away with Lalon’s money, and they have become poor again. Jhanak asks Brij to come, saying they are getting late. Brij asks if she is scared. She says no. He says she will tell the truth and asks her not to be scared.
He tells her that he knows she loves Anirudh a lot. She says Arshi is in his life, and she doesn’t want to harm anyone. He asks about their loss and says that one day, she will need Anirudh, so she shouldn’t talk to him angrily, as he might feel bad. She gives him a glass of water and cares for him.
Anuradha says Appu is sensible and will never eat food alone, but due to the situation, she can’t get food for everyone. She got the fish for Appu, as she has to eat well and take medicines. Appu asks if she can eat everything alone. Jhimli says she is lucky, as no one cares for her. Anuradha tells her to shut up. Appu asks Jhimli to have the fish. Jhimli argues with Appu. Kajal defends Appu. Anuradha and Lalon try to explain things to Jhimli.
Brij says Jhanak cares for him a lot. Jhanak says she found her father after many years and promises to build a beautiful world for them. Brij says his wishes never came true, as it’s not in a person’s hands. She assures him that she will take care of him, and they will go to Mumbai where her friends are. He stumbles. She asks what happened.
He says it’s just some leg pain and that they should leave, as there is no time. She says she is always with him. Appu offers sweets to Jhimli. Jhimli accuses her of not pitying her and tells her to eat it well. She argues again. The court hearing begins. Debashish presents the last witness, Jhanak. She states her name as Jhanak Bhanushali.
Shubh says she is lying and that it hasn’t been proven she is Brij’s daughter, since her documents mention the name Jhanak Raina. Debashish says it has been proven that Jhanak is Shrishti and Brij’s daughter, and documents don’t matter. He asks her what happened the day she disappeared from the shoot. Jhanak says a production guy came and told her Anirudh fell down the stairs. She was shooting with Aditya, so she left in a car.
She didn’t see who was driving. She just wanted to reach Anirudh’s house, but she noticed the route had changed. She questioned the driver, who answered. She saw it was Tejas and got scared. She screamed and asked to be let go. They took her to an isolated jungle near a lake. The production boy sprayed something on her face, and she fainted. After that, she doesn’t remember anything.
Shubh laughs and mocks her, calling the story weak and questioning how the car didn’t sink—calling it magic. He ridicules her. Lalon and others try to explain to Jhimli that Appu is different and unwell. Jhimli says she won’t tell anything to Lalon’s wife. Appu pleads with her not to be angry and suggests sharing food. Jhimli tells her to shut up and says she doesn’t want her pity.
Jhanak says she told the truth and doesn’t know how she survived. She accuses Shubh of always lying, as it’s part of his profession. She scolds him. Shubh complains that she insulted him. Debashish says Shubh also insults others. Shubh says he has a witness—the production boy who was in the car with Jhanak. He says Aditya was also in the car and had bad intentions. He claims Aditya wanted to kill Jhanak, fearing she would blackmail and ruin his career, and that he pushed the car into the river.
Debashish claps and calls his next witness—Anurag, the production boy, who was present and knows everything. Shrishti says they are framing her. Vinayak says he wants her to be punished and to return as a new Shrishti. Jhimli walks away angrily. Appu cries. Kajal says Jhimli didn’t say this before. Lalon says Jhimli has bad friends. Anuradha asks Appu to eat. Appu refuses, saying everyone should get the same food and that Jhimli is angry. Lalon says Appu is so innocent and valued. Kajal tells him to calm down.
Debashish questions Anurag. Anurag says he couldn’t refuse the offer as he is very poor and his child was unwell. He says Tejas came from Srinagar, and it was his planning. Another person involved was Shrishti. Shrishti calls it a lie. Shubh scolds Anurag and asks what proof he has. Anurag says he has proof. Debashish says no criminal ever accepts their crime. Anirudh says finally, the witness agreed to appear. Brij asks about Kul, saying the day is important. Anirudh agrees, saying much depends on today’s decision.
