The courtroom drama intensifies as Kavita is questioned by Debashish. She admits that she informed the shelter home she was going to meet relatives, as she had no other choice. Debashish accuses her of lying. Shubh tries to defend her, saying she is known to him, but Debashish insists she’s not telling the truth. The judge tells them to stop arguing and proceed with the hearing.
Debashish continues his questioning, asking Kavita why she didn’t seek help from her previous contacts. Kavita explains that she was exhausted, already married, and didn’t want more drama. Debashish questions why she didn’t object to Urvashi’s presence when she had the power as Brij’s wife. Shubh interrupts again, but the judge shuts it down, ending the cross-examination and calling the next witness.
Shubh thanks the court and escorts Kavita to sit beside Jhanak.Jhanak, still hurt and angry, says she can’t accept any random woman claiming to be her mother. Meanwhile, Arshi pleads for her mother’s innocence and decides to talk to Anirudh. She accuses Jhanak of using him and claims Jhanak will leave once she achieves her goal.
Anirudh firmly defends Jhanak, telling Arshi not to speak badly about her. He reminds Arshi that Jhanak is helpless and alone. Arshi warns him that Jhanak might end up with his entire property one day, and by then, she herself might be gone. Jhanak overhears this. Anirudh, frustrated, says his life is out of his control and wants to focus on the court proceedings.
Back in court, Debashish announces his next witness—Brijbhushan Bhanushali. Shubh claims he’s not present, but to everyone’s shock, Brij walks in. The judge mistakes him for Kulbhushan, but Debashish confirms he is indeed Brij, not Kul, who hasn’t appeared in court yet. Brij takes the witness stand. Vinayak questions Shrishti about this identity confusion. She fumbles and claims she met “him” a few days ago, unsure if it was Brij or Kul.
As Brij is questioned, he confirms he might have seen Kavita before but doesn’t remember all his students. When asked directly if he had a relationship with her, he denies it. Shubh calls him a liar, but Brij stands his ground, saying Shubh must prove it. Debashish then shifts focus to Shrishti and asks Brij if Jhanak is their daughter. Brij confirms. Regarding Kavita’s claim that she’s his wife, Brij says she can speak her side, but he has proof supporting his own story.
Debashish asks Brij why he changed his hairstyle. At that moment, Kul arrives—now looking identical to Brij. Everyone is stunned. Shrishti begins to panic, wondering if she met Kul or Brij recently. Brij explains that he disguised himself as Kul to get a confession from Shrishti. He submits his phone to the court, which contains an audio recording. With the court’s permission, Debashish plays it.
Everyone hears Shrishti’s recorded confession. Jhanak glares at her mother in disbelief. Debashish confirms the recording was made just the day before, proving Brij’s actions were strategic. Shrishti quickly denies the recording is hers. Debashish asserts that the court will verify the voice’s authenticity, and warns that liars will be punished. Jhanak and others applaud. The judge adjourns the court for the day.
Outside, Shrishti tries to defend herself to Vinayak. He brushes her off, saying she’s broken his trust. When she accuses Brij of manipulating her and recording the audio, Vinayak points out that she just admitted it was her voice. He warns her that lies build stress and eventually self-destruct. Shrishti is shaken as he walks away.
Meanwhile, Brij and Kul have a tense conversation. Brij vows that whoever tried to kill him won’t go unpunished. Kul urges him to calm down, offering to leave the city while Brij starts a new life with Jhanak. Jhanak cuts in, saying her marriage is her own concern. Kul mockingly tells her to stop chasing Anirudh and find someone else, suggesting Anirudh already belongs to someone else.
She angrily defends herself, and Anirudh steps in to shut Kul down. Brij tells Kul that he wants justice and time will tell who ends up behind bars. After they leave, Anirudh checks on Jhanak. She tells him that Kul accused her of targeting him. Anirudh dismisses Kul as a fraud and assures Jhanak not to believe his words.
They argue briefly, and Anirudh warns that Brij must stay alert—danger still looms. Brij, however, is determined to handle things himself. Anirudh, worried, says Jhanak’s safety is important. She tells him he wouldn’t be safe either if something happened. Anirudh ends the discussion, urging her to move on from it.
