Emma Faces Betrayal, Fear, and a Town’s Wrath as they turn against her.
At the cemetery, Emma smiled as she turned toward Elias, but he walked past her, leaving her shocked. Luna, determined to show support, approached Elias’ mother’s grave to present a flower, but her friend stopped her, reminding her that Elias kept choosing Emma over her. Luna insisted Elias was just confused and didn’t know what he wanted.
Meanwhile, Emma approached Elias to talk, but Luna and her friend arrived, with the latter commenting that it seemed Elias had fallen for the “ghost girl.” Later that night, Emma tried to resist the spirit of Camila and attempted to stay awake so the spirit wouldn’t use her body.
As she wandered around to keep herself alert, she encountered Mildred—one of Luna’s friends who had previously attacked her. Mildred apologized, saying she was pressured by her friends. She explained that she had always wanted to be friends with Luna since high school, and now that Luna had returned from overseas, she wanted to impress her.
Mildred invited Emma to a bonfire party that would last all night. Since Emma was trying to avoid sleep, she agreed to go. Upon arrival, Emma felt uncomfortable seeing Mildred’s friends, but Mildred assured her they were there to apologize. They claimed they were playing a game where the loser would wear a wedding gown and become the “killer bride.”
Emma hesitated, saying she didn’t know anyone there, but Luna convinced her to join. The game began with Emma answering a question about Mildred. Earlier, Mildred had told Emma she had two brothers, and Emma repeated that answer.
However, Mildred suddenly claimed she was an only child, revealing that everything she said earlier was a lie. Emma was forced to wear the gown while Luna threw animal blood on her. Elias arrived and tried to help, but Emma, upset and humiliated, fled into the woods.
There, she encountered a man named Manolo who screamed upon seeing her, saying he had met the killer bride. He suffered a heart attack and collapsed. Manolo was rushed to the hospital, and his wife, upon seeing Emma in a blood-stained gown, called her evil and blamed her for the incident.
As Emma walked away, Elias held her back. She asked why he kept defending her when he was just like everyone else. Elias replied that her lies hurt others. When she asked how he could be so sure she was lying, Elias shared a painful memory: as a child, he had scared two girls with a story about the killer bride.
One got injured, and his father punished him harshly, locking him in a dark hut. The next day, Vito rescued him, but Elias discovered his entire family had died that night. He said it was the night he lost his family and had regretted lying ever since.
Emma cried to Manay Ichu, saying she had always longed for a family, but bad things kept happening now that she had one. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Vito provided financial help for Manolo’s family, relieved that the heart attack wasn’t fatal. When he asked Elias what had happened, Elias urged him to ask Luna.
At home, Tessa questioned why Vito rushed to the hospital. Vito accused Luna of doing something terrible, but she claimed it was all a joke. Gossip spread in town, and many planned to drive Emma out. Luna admitted to Tessa that she acted that way because she saw Vito with Emma.
Vito confronted Tessa, saying she never asked him about Emma. He explained that after watching Emma’s video confession, he felt compelled to talk to her—not because he believed her, but because he wouldn’t let a 20-year-old girl lie to him.
The townspeople, led by Andres, stormed Dako Paroon to force Emma out. Manay Ichu and Iking locked the doors and chased them away. Andres insisted on performing an exorcism to rid Emma of the supposed curse. Realizing the situation was spiraling out of control, Manay Ichu called Guada for help.
Meanwhile, Luna approached Elias in the flower garden to apologize, but Intoy interrupted to whisper that the town was after Emma. Elias dropped everything to rush to her defense. Manay Ichu tried to help Emma escape through the back gate but ran into Tatiana—Camila’s aunt—who had just arrived from Paris.
Tatiana took Emma with her, vowing to protect her and bring her to the Dela Torre mansion. Before leaving, Emma asked to use the toilet, and Tatiana mentioned she wanted to discuss Emma’s fashion, saying she dressed like Camila.
Instead of returning, Emma fled to Andres, seeking help. When Elias arrived at Dako Paroon, Manay Ichu scolded him for being involved in Emma’s latest incident. Elias explained that even if he didn’t believe Emma, he didn’t want her harmed, which was why he rushed to her aid.
Just then, Manay Ichu received a call informing her that Emma was missing. She suspected Emma went to Andres for the exorcism. Elias offered to drive them there. At Andres’ hut, Emma asked if he was sure he could help her. He said yes and locked the hut, preparing to begin the exorcism. Read Next Episode On The Killer Bride Episode 8
