Emma is rescued from the Exorcism and Finds Shelter with the Dela Torres.
The episode begins at Andres’ eerie little hut. Inside, Emma was bound tightly, her arms and feets restrained while Andres prepared what he called “cleansing herbs” a mixture of leaves and twigs he believed would cast out demons. He mumbled chants under his breath, pacing around her with a wild, obsessive energy.
Emma suddenly let out an unsettling laugh—sharp, almost mocking. Andres stepped back in alarm. To him, her reaction was no coincidence. He declared that her laughter was proof enough—a demon had fully taken over her body.
In desperation, Andres splashed water over Emma, hoping to trigger a divine response. But when she refused to “obey,” he lost his patience. Grabbing a rope, he began lashing her. He was convinced pain would force the spirit to flee. Emma screamed in agony.
Outside, commotion stirred. Manay Ichu, Elias, and Tsoknat arrived and found a growing crowd blocking the way. The villagers, believing Andres was saving the girl’s soul, refused to let them intervene. Elias forced his way through the tense mob and burst into the hut. Manay Ichu and Tsoknat followed closely behind. Together, they freed Emma from Andres’ grasp.
Shaken and wounded, Emma explained that she genuinely believed Andres could help her but she had been wrong. Manay Ichu wasted no time. She brought Emma to the Dela Torre mansion, hoping she would be safe under its roof. Before parting, she whispered firmly, “If anyone mistreats you here, come back to Dako Paroon. We will protect you.”
Inside the mansion, things were tense. Luciano exploded with rage upon seeing Emma. Furious that Guada welcomed her in, he tried to throw Emma out himself. But before he could, a gust of wind swept through Andres’ hut windows flew open, as if some unseen force had entered.
Back at the mansion, Alice snapped. In a rare moment of defiance, she slapped Luciano hard across the face. She reminded him that he once drove Camila out the same way—and back then, she said nothing out of fear. But now, she was done being silent. “If you touch her,” Alice warned, her voice firm, “I will have you arrested.” Luciano was left stunned, powerless.
That same night, Andres was haunted by what he had done. A ghostly presence invaded his hut. His hands trembled, and he fell to the floor, sobbing. “Please forgive me,” he cried into the darkness, begging the spirit not to harm him.
Meanwhile, in her new bedroom, Emma changed into a nightgown. Guada noticed the fresh scars on her legs—evidence of Andres’ cruelty. She gently assured Emma that she was now safe. She told her to rest and invited her for breakfast the next morning.
Later, Alice approached Emma, thanking her for standing up for herself earlier. Emma nodded silently, but the peace didn’t last. A cold breeze swept across her skin, and she felt a presence, something watching her. Sleep escaped her. Elsewhere, a security guard patrolling the estate caught sight of a mysterious figure dressed in white moving through the dark. Terrified, he bolted back inside.
At the same time, Vito met with his private investigator. The investigator reported that no record existed of an Emma Bonaobra growing up in the area. However, a former employee had once come across a file under that name. Whoever Emma was claiming to be—she might actually be telling the truth.
In the early hours, Emma quietly stepped into the chapel. A woman dressed sharply in white trousers and red heels followed. It was Camila. “How are you holding up?” she asked with a knowing smirk. Emma smiled and dropped the act. Alone together, the two dropped the mask of pretense.
Camila applauded her performance, impressed by the chaos Emma had caused. “Las Espadas is shaken. The feud between the Dela Torres and the Dela Cuestas is reignited,” she said with satisfaction. “As long as the world believes Camila Dela Torre is dead,” she added, “we’ll always be two steps ahead.” Emma’s eyes gleamed. “I’ll help you, Camila. I’ll make sure you get the justice they all denied you.”
A flashback revealed how Emma was trained by Camila to speak, move, and lie flawlessly. She had memorized her cover story: an orphan, a funeral cosmetologist. Everything was rehearsed, down to the day she arrived in Las Espadas. Camila knew Manay Ichu would protect Emma, just as she had once stood by Camila.
But even then, Camila warned her, “Don’t trust anyone. Not even Manay Ichu.” It was also revealed that Emma had deliberately knocked over the plastic table Elias stood on, creating their “accidental” first encounter. Manipulating Elias, earning Guada’s trust it was all part of the plan. Even Tsoknat’s belief that Camila’s spirit had possessed Emma was orchestrated.
Back in the present, Camila shared her growing list of enemies. She pointed to Luna, Luciano, and Andres all part of the web of people who betrayed her. In a hidden room, she had posted photos and notes about everyone she believed played a role in her downfall: Javier’s death, the prison fire, and the tragedy of her daughter’s passing.
Camila recalled the moment someone saved her from the prison fire. Her curse on the town still echoed in her mind. Fabio had found her that day, rescuing her while searching for his sister. He told Camila that fate led him to her, not his sister.
Camila cried bitterly, “You should have left me to burn with my daughter.”
Fabio assured her he believed in her innocence and promised to help her reclaim everything the world took from her. At Jacobo’s funeral, Camila had considered revealing herself, but Fabio talked her out of it. Instead, he introduced her to a syndicate.
During a tense meeting, Fabio’s boss made advances towards Camila. Fabio stepped in and claimed her as his woman to protect her. She watched in horror as a debtor was beaten to death by the syndicate. She lashed out at Fabio. “You brought me into this mess. I’m not like them!”
At first, Camila tried to make a clean living. But survival was brutal. After a narrow escape during a sale, she realized she had no choice. She returned to the syndicate and signed the documents that would give her a new identity, a new life and a new mission. This was no longer just about revenge. It was about justice for her daughter, for herself, and now, with Emma by her side, it was about taking back everything that was stolen. Read Next Episode On The Killer Bride Episode 9
